MHKDesigns: Open Bloom


Hello, all!  It's time for the June 2016 release at MHKDesigns, and there are some fabulous sets coming your way!  Today's set includes a beautiful floral image and flowery sentiments!  Take a peek at...


I adore this beautiful image--so many possibilities!  I also tried to find a few sentiments that fit the floral theme that I hadn't seen as stamps quite yet.  Come and see the card I created...


I colored three flowers, from the Open Bloom set, with Spectrum Noir markers, then fussy cut them out to create a border around the sentiment from the same set.  I added some liquid pearls to the centers of the flowers for a bit more shine.  I also tucked some pearls and rhinestones behind the blooms for a bit more embellishment.


The sentiment was matted with a black scallop circle, and added more liquid pearls to tie in the flower centers.  I adore the way it looks nestled behind these blooms!


I kept this CAS, so these elements were added to a white panel that had been dry embossed with a wood grain folder.  I chose a kraft card base to keep things looking more natural.  What do you think?  I would love to hear in the comments below! :)
