MHKDesigns: Tweet Tweet


Hello, friends!  It is time for another release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop, and I have some super fun sets and papers coming your way!  There are a few "anytime" sets, and we're also looking ahead to a few fall holidays this month!  I hope you grab them for your stash!  Today we are featuring the *NEW*...


Take a peek at my creation...

I printed my little bird friend from the Tweet Tweet set, as well as the sentiment, onto vellum.  I used Spectrum Noir markers to color the bird (on the back side of the vellum) and added it and the sentiment on top of some washi tapes.


I used paper from the Cheerful Chirpings paper pack for my "sky" and used die cuts and punches to create a sun.  A few punched clouds were also added to the "sky", and their edges glittered for more texture and shine.


A few rhinestones were added to help keep the sentiment held down to the card base.  I love the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

    Mynn, your card is so cheerful with the pretty blue bird and glittery sun. I love that you used the washi tape, it looks great. I look forward to seeing another new set tomorrow.

    Thanks for the tip about using rhinestones to keep vellum down! I love to use vellum for sentiments, but I hate when glue dots show through! Lovely card!
