Hello, and Happy New Year to all of you! I am SUPER excited to be back with another year of creations for MHKDesigns, and even more excited to be moving our monthly challenge to start on the 1st of the month! Hop on over to the blog to meet the *NEW* designers for this year and link up with our challenge! Speaking of the challenge...
Here's the inspiration~
Now, if you have items from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop, it is ALWAYS anything goes to link up. If you haven't had a chance to grab something from the shop, just follow the inspiration to play along! Have a peek at my take on this photo...
I used the Get Well Flowers stamp set for my image. I printed it out on vellum, then colored it with Spectrum Noirs. I added another vellum piece over the top of the image with the sentiment, from the Birds & Branches stamp set. The pink paper border is from the Get Well Flowers paper pack, and the green houndstooth is from the Trick or Treat paper pack. Isn't it fun to have versatile papers?!
My finishing touches include some faux stitching, a doily, seam binding, a button, and twine. This card came together really easily, and I think it's so pretty! I hope you agree with me! I would love to hear your thoughts about this in the comments below!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends! I hope you hop over to join in our monthly challenge at MHKDesigns! There are prizes for each one, and you can use any products you'd like! :) Don't forget to leave some love with the other gals on this wonderful DT, too!
I'll be back soon with more creations using MHKDesigns products!
Until then, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends! :)

Another beautiful creation - I have yet to print digis on vellum - but it is on my list of things to do this year. Love your little touches of love on the card.
ReplyDeleteWOW! So pretty - I really love how bold your background is too! Always stunning! :D I'm so honored to be part of your Design Team for 2017!
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast of your soft delicate bloom with the vibrants pops of color in the background. Very pretty Mynn!
