Variations...

Well, hello. Yes. It's quite late. I'm counting this as Friday's post, even thought it's one hour into Saturday. : ) Before we begin--let me restate yet again that I am wanting to offer some blog candy! Here's how--if I get 100 followers by January 1, 2012, I will have a huge give away! Please follow me so that I can share the celebration!!! :)

Okay, this week at One Layer Wednesday, the challenge was to create one layer cards with variations on a sentiment. The card can only have the sentiment. The sentiment is the only thing to be on the card. I am in trouble...

Or am I?! I recently purchased the Season's Greetings set from Inkadinkado (see previous post here) and I still hadn't used the largest sentiment. HUZZAH!!! I made four cards--Susan did, too, and so I just followed in her fabulous footsteps! :D

Card 1 (embossed with gold tinsel powder)~

Card 2 (stamped in green ink then embossed with Kaleidescope powder)~

Card 3 (embossed in white)~

Card 4 (stamped in red and then embossed with clear powder)~

What do you think? My favorite is the white one red. So bold and festive!!! I had so much fun with this challenge--and I will be able to send these to friends everywhere with no extra postage. HUZZAH! Hope you join in the fun--merry stamping! :)

  1. Those cards are all lovely but the red is my favourite and I think you have helped me as I have a large word stamp "peace" and wondered if it would look OK to just stamp and emboss it on a card without an image and I can now see it works well, thanks.

  3. These are all beautiful. I can't decide which I prefer, although I am leaning towards the glittery gold.

  4. That Kaleidoscope powder is pretty and fun. It's a nice match with the simple design limits of the challenge.

  5. Mynnette, these are gorgeous! What a great sentiment stamp! I love the green and kaleidoscope card, but my second favourite would be the white embossed on red. :-)

I apologize for the word verification. I do have this feature on set to NO in blog settings. I will continue to moderate comments so that I make sure to see each one.

Thank you so much for commenting--your sweet words make my day! :) {{{HUGS}}} and happy stamping!
