52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown: ANYTHING GOES!!!

Last week of June, friends!!!  AND, it's ANYTHING GOES at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown!!!  Also, this is the last week you have to enter our DT call--see the blog for more details! :)  Okay, let's get on with it!

Here's my creation~

Outside Details~

Inside Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

(I did red, glitter, ornaments.  Also, glitter, free (patterned paper), blue!)

I'm calling this a "display" card.  I'm sure it's been done, but I just used my brain to make it!  If you want to know how to make it, it's quite easy.  Take a 5.5"x8.5" card, score one side at 2" and other side at 2.5" then decorate!  It's fun to display--and the receiver can choose to display either the outside or inside!  Won't you go see Jacqueline and Ruth's creations, too?!  Merry stamping, friends!

BLOG CANDY TIME!!!

***THIS IS A STICKY POST THAT WILL STAY AT THE TOP OF MY BLOG UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST ON JUNE 29, 2012...PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE CRAFTY POSTS!***

Hi, all!  I haven't done blog candy in a while now, so I've decided to give some away!  It's a little bit different this time, though!  I've been dabbling in digital sentiments, and so the big winner of this blog candy will win 8 of them!  I hope this sounds like a good deal to you--I've certainly had fun creating these, and am thinking about starting a digital sentiments store--would any of you be interested in it?!  They'd all be seriously cheap--like $1.00 each or something like that.  Maybe $0.50 each.  Let me know what you think!

SO, let's lay a few ground rules, shall we?  I hate doing it, but I have to be fair to everyone out there!  Just a few rules, okay?

1. You need to be a follower of On a Stampage.  Pretty please?!  I love having you come and visit me and leave me some love!  I will follow you back and do my best to keep up with you!

2. Link up below--please link back to a POST THAT MENTIONS MY CANDY WITH THE PICTURE of the candy being offered.  I want to get the word out to as many friends as possible that I am offering this candy!

3. PLEASE STAY TUNED TO SEE WHO WINS!  I will be announcing the winner on June 30th and I will only wait for 24 hours to hear from you before I redraw!

4. ANYONE AROUND THE WORLD CAN ENTER--that's the last ground rule!  Since this is digital, I have no cost for shipping!  SO, enter my blog candy, please!!!

Here's the sentiments you will get (in separate files, not on one sheet, so you can resize them)~

***FOR CARD IDEAS USING THESE IMAGES, CLICK HERE***

Okay, one more thing.  I will be giving away a mini blog candy to 5 extra lucky winners!!!  That's right!  There will be 6 total winners!!!  One person will get ALL of the fabulous sentiments, but 5 winners will get to choose one of the sentiments they like best to have as their very own!  These winners will be announced on July 1, 2012 and will also have just 24 hours to respond--so stay tuned one and all!!!  I cannot wait to give this candy away--get linking, friends!!!  Happy linking--and good luck! :)

I hope you'll BEE happy...

I realized that I have NOT been doing a good job of promoting my DIGITAL BLOG CANDY!!!  So, I'm here to fix that!  I've got one last card to show you using one of the digi sentiments, made by yours truly, that you could win!  I hope you join in--the sentiments are totally fun!

Here's the card~

(sentiment as main focus)

(mine's yellow!)

This was such a quick and easy card to make--and it turned out too cute!  I just re-sized the sentiment to make it larger,  printed it, cut it down to size, colored in the bee, added some bling and some handmade double ribbon (if you'd like to know how to do it, email me!) then added the panel to my card!  The wings of the bee are colored in with a clear glitter gel pen and the black panel IS dry embossed--it's just hard to photograph black dry embossing for some reason...  I think it turned out darling, what do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!  DON'T FORGET to link up to my DIGITAL BLOG CANDY!!!  Happy crafting, friends! :)

Insomniacs, UNITE!

Do you know how many times I've typed untie instead of unite?  Yeah.  It's that bad.  Okay, so even though it is 2:00 in the wee morning hours here, I am unable to sleep.  So I made a card!

Here it is~

For these fabulous challenges~

(ribbon, glitter, rhinestones, patterned paper)

As you can see, there are MANY textures going on in this card.  We've got the dry embossed black panel, the sheer black ribbon, the rough and glittery sandpaper specialty paper, the glitter on the perfume, and the texture rhinestones.  I may have gone a bit texture crazy.  The image is from A Day For Daisies and I colored it in with watercolor pens and red ink and, as it smeared, got a bit inky with it.  I then decided to add the glitter and rhinestones because all gorgeous perfume bottles have pizazz!  And then I decided to use some of my Pink Paislee vintage stamps to create more interest because apparently I do that a lot now...  Is it too much?  You can be the judge!  I really like this card!

Thanks for the fabulous challenges, all!  I hope some of you join in the fun--I want to see what you create!  Happy crafting!!! :)

It's bathing suit weather!

Well, at least it is in the northern hemisphere.  Although, I gotta tell ya, I will NEVER be caught in a bathing suit.  Oh, and a quick confession--I can't swim.  The water SCARES me.  So, you'll never see me swimming, in a swimming suit, or near a large body of water on purpose. ;)  But, my card features the cutest suit you've ever seen!!!  I was at my local craft store yesterday and Karen (owner) had some darling Ippty stamps on clearance.  Of course I grabbed them up!  I will make a card featuring the other stamps later, but today I'm showcasing the swimsuit!!!

Less Is More: Paper piecing (the suit was double paper pieced)

I had tons of fun making this card!  I first stamped the image with black ink onto a piece of light blue paper for "sky", then I stamped it twice onto white paper using red ink and black ink.  I cut out the black ink image and adhered it to the blue paper, colored in the band in the middle, then cut out the red image and glued it on top.  Some glittery spots and a rhinestone completed the process!  What do you think?!

Thanks for stopping by--I hope you create something today!  I would love to see it!  Happy stamping--don't forget to join in the fabulous challenges above!!! :)

I miss my nieces...

I do.  I miss them lots!  So, I decided to make a special card just for them!  I hope they like it--I've used a digi from Sliekje Digi Stamps and you can find it HERE.  All of the digis on this sight are free!!!  And their adorable!  I've also used a digi sentiment that I made by myself.  I'm gonna give it to you free in this post for stopping by!  I appreciate it! :)

I've used some glossy accents on parts of my image.  I don't know why, but as soon as I heard "summer" I thought of using glossy accents!  What do you think?  I think my nieces will love it!  And since it's for someone special, this is a "Spread the L-O-V-E" card as well.

Here's the digi sentiment I promised (jpeg & png file types)~

Make My Monday: June Celebrations/Color Challenge

Welcome to the final week of Make My Monday's June Celebrations challenges!  This week we are looking for creations using the colors of red, green, and cream.

Here's what I made~

Details~

I CASEd a card that Jacqueline made last month.  You can find her card here and here.  I want to call this technique "Faux Stained Glass".  Basically, you emboss lined images onto vellum and then color them in.  Isn't it a stunning touch?!

So, what will you come up with this month?  I cannot wait to see your creation!  And speaking of creations, you need to go and check out the other DT creations, too!  Happy crafting! :)

PS: Have you checked out my BLOG CANDY yet?!
