Welcome to another day of the October Inspired By Stamping release! I am super excited to get to share a card with you today using the NEW Poinsettia stamp set--this is a MUST HAVE, friends! I went CAS for this card. Take a gander...
Swoon, right?! I decided to go non-traditional on my colors for this card. I started by stamping the poinsettia outline from the Poinsettia set so that I could place the leaves where I wanted them. I used a pale mint green for the leaves.
I then stamped another poinsettia from the Poinsettia set onto a new piece of cardstock using a bright pink ink. I added some glitter to the petals and then used rhinestones for the center. This was popped up over the first image stamped for some dimension. I trimmed the bottom petals off so that the card can stand flat.
After adding the poinsettia, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Poinsettia set and created a layered banner with silver glitter paper for it. I added some sparkle with a clear glitter gel pen and added this to the card.
The result was better than I thought it would be! A CAS holiday beauty--I hope you like it as much as I do! What do you think?
That's all for me today! I hope you take a chance to go and grab our newest release from the store and, if you spend $50, you will get a free stamp set! Also, come and join in the fun of our current challenge, too! If you use products from the Inspired By Stamping store, link them up in the Customer Gallery as well!
