Open House Projects
Okay, here they are! Simple and quick. The birthday and bliss cards are the ones you will make, the St. Patrick's day one is a demo and the diaper fold pouches are samples of how to use the Sale-a-bration items. I can't wait! :) PS: Sorry some of the pictures are on messy backgrounds...I need to re-paper my tables. :)

Be Mine, Valentine!
Happy ALMOST Valentine's day! I made up some quick and simple Valentines to send to family members out in Utah, and I wanted to share them. I love that patterned paper makes things so much easier! Of course, I had to use glitter!!! I love this color combo, too! Red, white, black and turquoise is my new favorite Valentine color combo! Thanks for looking--hope you take the time to make a Valentine for someone special in your life today. Happy stamping!!!

Technique Tuesday Spotlight :)
So, this is a new thing I'm trying out. Each Tuesday my goal is to post a way cool technique that I have recently learned or have always loved. Today's technique spotlight is...FAUX PRESSED FLOWERS. This was last weeks technique on Splitcoast Stampers, but hopefully this is new to some of you. :) Here are the samples (I LOVE this technique, so there are quite a few):

And here's how to do this technique! It's super simple.
Supplies
Paper flowers
Glue stick
Cardstock
Embossing folders
Sizzix Purse (or other die cut machine to run the folder through)
Instructions:
1. Using the glue stick SPARINGLY, glue the paper flowers in place on your cardstock.
2. Place the cardstock into the embossing folder and run it through the Sizzix Purse.
3. Add the element to a project! :)
See! Super simple! I'll be showcasing this technique at my next open house on Feb. 19th. It goes from 10am-2pm at my house. Hope to see you all there! :) Happy crafting!!!

Thank You!
I know that I do not have many followers, but I do have to say thank you to some very sweet and special ladies and I want to say thank you to them in as many ways as I possibly can. Our church does not have any paid positions. We each take turns doing different duties and helping each other out. We have organizations within our church for different age groups and each organization has a presidency. This last weekend, the presidency for our women group (called Relief Society) was released after very dedicated service. I want to publicly thank them because they were phenomenal and I am incredibly grateful to them! I made each of them a card (see pictures above) and will be sending them off tomorrow (we're in snowpocalypse mode right now here in the Midwest). Thank you so much ladies for your service! It was appreciated!!! I hope that anyone who reads this post will take the time to thank someone today. There are opportunities for gratitude everywhere! Happy thanking!
More Altered Valentine's Tins :)
So, yes. I had to make even MORE decorations! :) So, here are the pictures. These were quite simple. I just cute paper from a coordinating pack into different size strips, alternated the patterns and put them on. I covered the seams with ribbon. The beautiful GLITTER hearts were stamped with the Essential Glue Pad and then I put fine magenta glitter over the image. What do you think? Hopefully you get inspired to make something for yourself! Happy craftin'!
