I've used a dry embossing folder by Sizzix, a sentiment from an unknown company, rhinestones from Zva Creative, and all other supplies by Stampin' Up!.

We would LOVE to see what shapes you use for our sketch--it doesn't have to be a circle as I've shown above!  Please come and join us this week and don't forget to say hello to the other DT gals and leave them some love, too!  Happy stamp{ink}! :)

(Inadvertently inspired and CASEd our hostess-Ruth!)

Details~

I've used stamps from an unknown company (anyone know?!) and the rest of my supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

Erhm...I inadvertently CASEd our hostess's inspiration button card, lol!  It seemed like such a great idea and I could NOT remember where I'd seen it...until I added my card to the challenge post! HA!  Sorry, Ruth, but your inspiration was soaked into my brain!  I added some glitter glue around the edges of each panel to add some shine, but the photos don't do it justice.

Thanks for taking time to come and see my card!  I hope you join us this week--get a jump start on your holiday cards, folks!  Also, please take a little time to go and say hello to the other DT gals and see their fabulous creations as well!  Merry stamping! :)

More layered embossing...

I wasn't sure if I'd blog this card.  I'm not as happy with it as others I have been making lately.  But it sat all sad and lonely on my desk and absolutely BEGGED me to blog it, so I had to listen!  I'm the creator.  My creations deserve their time in the spotlight, lol!

Here's the card~

For these fabulous challenges~

(I chose Thanks, Embossing, Ribbon.)

(I love ALL colors, but my three favorite for
the Valentine's season are red, black, and white!)

I used stamps from PTI, embossing powder from my stash, rhinestones from my stash, and the rest of the supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

So, what do you think?  I see where I embossed too long and the colors ran and that is why I'm not too happy with it.  SIGH.  I hope you think it's okay!  I hope whoever is the recipient of it thinks it's okay, too!!!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my creation.  I hope it inspires you to try something new today!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Pocket/Pull Card

Well, I am just one happy camper!  I got to craft literally all day yesterday, resumed work today and had a good day with a FREE lunch, I got to visit with some sweet friends this afternoon, and my washer is being fixed tonight!  HOORAY!  So, ready to see what I've got up my sleeve this time?  It's a little different from my usual...

Here it is~

For these fabulous challenges~

I won a gift card to Repeat Impressions and I've used two of the stamps that I purchased with this card.  I am LOVING them!  I'll be back with another card using the other stamp later...the glitter paper is by Recollections, the coloring was done with a Stampin' Up! marker and Sakura gels pens, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

I actually took this card today to a sweet friend I've been thinking of.  I think one of the best ways we can spread the Love of Christ is by sharing our friendship with those we know need it.  That's everyone, folks!  I'm not saying go out and befriend crazy people who are making sad choices, but we should have a genuine love for all of our brothers and sisters and reach out to them when prompted.  Especially those we feel we could never get along with.  Some of my best friends are people I misjudged.  I'm so grateful for repentance and forgiveness!!!!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I appreciate the time you took out of your day to do so and I also love and appreciate all your sweet comments!  I hope you've been inspired to join in these fabulous challenges!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Experimenting

So, I've been experimenting with some new techniques and I have to say I am rather pleased with the results!!!  I've made two cards today using the "new to me" technique of LAYERED EMBOSSING.  Basically, you emboss in one color and then emboss over the top with another.  BUT--you have to be really careful or else the embossing spreads and looks weird.

Here's the first card I made using this technique~

For these fabulous challenges~

(Use hearts in your project)

I've used stamps by Hero Arts and Martha Stewart, a punch by Martha Stewart, a heart rhinestone by Studio 112, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

To create my background paper, I stamped the lined primrose stamp in black and then punched out some red hearts.  I glued the red hearts in place with a glue stick and ran the panel through my Sizzix purse.  I love this technique and adore the texture it creates!  The rest of the card was easy peasy to make, too!  I heat embossed the red heart then heat embossed the black sentiment over the top.  Added some punches and gems, put it on the card!  Two fun ribbons finish this card off.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek!  I do hope you'll join in these fabulous challenges!  Thanks for following me and leaving all those sweet comments--I read each and every one of them!  I'm sorry I can't always come and repay the favor, but I do appreciate you!!!  Happy stamping, friends! :)
