So, what's a girl to do?! Use digi images, of course! And lots of bright patterned papers. And paper piecing! And that's exactly what I did! And then I made my ATC into a card, because I wanted to show the gals at my class how they could use it! :)
Here's the card~

Isn't that something you don't see everyday here at On a Stampage?! I know! But I am really pleased with how it turned out! I'm entering it into a couple of challenges...
The first challenge is the Gingersnap Creations "Things that Leap" Once in a Blue Moon challenge. How does this card fit the criteria? Let me explain. Hasn't your mind LEAPED to conclusions when you don't hear from the man in your life and he was supposed to call? Especially when it's late? (See the time the clock states on my card.) And doesn't your heart LEAP when the phone finally DOES ring because you're wanting an explanation? Okay, have I clarified it well enough? I hope so! ;)
The second challenge I'm entering this into is the Creatilicious sketch challenge. All the entries look elegant and/or cute, so I hope this card is okay to enter!!!
Here's their fabulous sketch~
Thanks for stopping by today and taking a peek! I appreciate all of you taking the time to visit my little piece of blog land. I hope you've been inspired to create something out of YOUR ordinary today! Happy stamping! :)

I wouldn't have thought it was out of your comfort zone if you hadn't said because the design is excellent! I love the retro feel - those bright colours really make it work! Fab card!
Retro isn't something you'll see on my blog either, but you did a great job on your creation! I like how it turned out, and I could even envision me using it for..... a teenager maybe?
Oh how great is this Mynnette! Love the vibrant colors and you've captured the sketch so well. That little retro phone is awesome ;)
