House of Cards: One Last Bokeh Card

Hi, friends!  I'm back with another card for this month's challenge at House of Cards--bokeh!  If you've never tried this, you totally should!  I LOVE it.  This card was my thrid try at this technique and I am IN LOVE with the way it turned out!  Come and take a peek...

I chose to go with a sponged background this time, and I spritzed it with Glimmer Mist to add shine, too.  I like the intensity of the colors this time around!  My sponging was done on Powdered Sugar cardstock from The Stamps of Life.

I used a sentiment from the upliftingwords2hear stamp set again.  I used some Licorice cardstock to create a very thin border around my panel, then I added some rhinestones to create some "rain".

The focal panel was then added to a Gingersnap cardstock card base that had been prepped with some patterned paper from the Celebrate Collection Patterned Paper Pad, also with a thin border of Licorice cardstock.  I super LOVE LOVE LOVE this fun card!  I think this one is going to be hard to part with!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you come and join us at House of Cards this month, and make sure you check out the other cards that the gals on this amazing DT have made using this fun technique, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)
