My card~
Details~
For these fabulous challenges~
(I did the line that goes yellow, ribbon, flowers)
So, I decided to make my own patterned paper and I was inspired by the flowers on the tea set in the inspiration photo at colourQ and I knew that I wanted to try and capture something similar. But I didn't necessarily want a vintage card. I wanted to keep it simpler.
Enter the Array of Sunshine set by Stampin' Up! It was really easy to create a background with the bold images in this set! I tried to balance the colors by having one main color and highlighting with the others. I feel that this card is well balanced color-wise and I love the layout--thanks to Retro Sketches!
Thanks for stopping by tonight to take a peek at my card! I really appreciate you being here and I love all of your sweet comments! I hope that you come and play along with these fabulous challenges--I love seeing what everyone creates! Happy stamping! :)
