Doodle Pantry: Candy Cane Poem

Before I start my post, I would like to say a giant THANK YOU to Laurie and the other gals on the Doodle Pantry DT.  This will be my last post for this fabulous company and I have enjoyed every minute of my time with these wonderful women! :)

It's getting close to Christmas.  I make my cards year round, but I know that isn't how some crafters like to do things, so I'm going to share some quick and easy cards over the next few weeks using some beautiful pre-colored digis from the Doodle Pantry store!  Come and see this week's creation...

This card uses a beautiful digital image, sentiment, and poem (on the inside) from the Candy Cane Poem set.  The front of the card shows the image and title...

...and then the inside showcases the actual poem from the Candy Cane Poem set.  It is beautiful.  This card is all ready to go--it just needs a salutation and closing!  And making more than one at a time would be a breeze!  Just get an assembly line going! :)

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my card!  I hope you come and join in our current monthly challenge over on the Doodle Pantry blog and that you grab some of the newest items for sale in the store!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping!

Doodle Pantry: Bethlehem

Welcome back, dear blogging friends!  I'm here today with a couple of Christmas cards that use the same layout, same digital image from the Doodle Pantry store, but different sentiments.  They turned out better than I thought and I hope you like them!

I started these cards by printing out some digital images and sentiments from the Mini Bethlehem set.  I adore this sweet scene, and the pre-colored image makes for a gorgeous panel!  All I used to highlight was a bit of glitter on the star.

These panels were then added to a card base that was made up of blue glitter paper, a doily, and some pearls.  I just adore the final look!  The Mini Bethlehem set is so versatile and you can resize the images as big or small as you'd like!  The perfect set for making Christmas Cards. :)

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my card!  I hope you come and join in our current monthly challenge over on the Doodle Pantry blog and that you grab some of the newest items for sale in the store!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping!

Doodle Pantry: Pumpkins

Hi, friends!  I'm here today with a card using some fabulous digital elements from the Doodle Pantry store!  I've decided to make two cards using the same digis...just with different coloring!  Come and take a peek at the orange one.  You'll see the white version at the end of the post. :)

I started these cards by printing off the sentiments and images from the Pumpkin pre-colored set.  This set is just lovely and perfectly elegant!  All that was needed were a few enamel dots to highlight the images.  These images have fabulous shading...take a peek!

The sentiment is the same on both cards.  A wonderful harvest blessing from the Pumpkin set as well!  This set is a must have for autumn crafting!

I finished these cards off with a patterned paper base and some orange grosgrain ribbon.  I think they turned out perfectly--thanks to the lovely Pumpkin set by Laurie and found in the Doodle Pantry online store!

Doodle Pantry: Autumn Song Birdies

Hi, friends!  I am back again today with a card that uses some of the newest darling digis from the Doodle Pantry store!  Our monthly challenge is starting up again and so the team is showcasing this fabulous new images!  Come and take a look at my creation...

Isn't that image just DARLING?  It's from a new set called Autumn Song Birdies and the pre-colored image makes a quick and easy card that packs a huge "WOW"!  They are just so cute and festive!

I chose to use a sentiment from another of our newest sets to frame this image.  This sentiment is from the Tiny Tree mini set and I accented it with some orange rhinestones.  I know that you might be questioning my judgement about "holiday wish" on an autumnal themed card, but Thanksgiving is a very important holiday to me and so that's why I chose this sentiment--this is a Thanksgiving card! :)  I'm not sure if you can tell, but I added a little glitter to the sentiment to give the main panel a little more shine. :)

I only needed to add a few little bits to accent this darling Autumn Song Birdies image.  Some gold leaves and an orange rose to the side, some ribbon and a doily--I think it turned out beautifully!

I am totally loving the finished product!  This card was definitely a journey--it did not turn out the way I had planned.  I think it turned out better!  I am so thankful to God for allowing me to be a part of such fabulous design teams and for the talent He has given me that can bless those around me!  I hope you take some time today to create for someone you love, too!  I hope you use some of the new sets from Doodle Pantry, too--you won't ever regret your purchases from this fabulous store!

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my card!  I hope you come and join in our current monthly challenge over on the Doodle Pantry blog and that you grab some of the newest items for sale in the store!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping!

Doodle Pantry: Lovely Friend

Hey, friends!  I've got another card today that uses some lovely digital elements from Doodle Pantry.  This card uses a sentiment for a great friend!  I'm not sure who will be the recipient, but I think it's bright and happy!  Come take a peek...

Here's my card~

Doodle Pantry products used:
Petite Bouquet (sentiment)
Tiny Fruit Bunch (paper)

I was thinking summer meets autumn when I was making this card.  Summer lasts until the end of October here in Kansas, but I LOVE autumn colors.  I think this is the perfect mesh of both! :)

Doodle Pantry: Best Fishes

Hey, friends!  I'm back today with a card using some super fun digital elements from Doodle Pantry.  This card uses a very punny sentiment--just my style!  What do you think?

Here's my card~

Doodle Pantry products used:
Everyday Jargon (image & sentiment)
Classic Tools (paper)

I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but I added some liquid pearls as "bubbles" for the little fish and some washi tape to accent this fun image.  I think this would make a super fun birthday card for some guy who likes a good pun as much as I do!  Perhaps my husband?  That IS why we got married, you know. ;)

Doodle Pantry: September Mini Release!

Hi, friends!  I'm here today with a quick card I made using some of the newest sets from Doodle Pantry!  We're having a mini release today, so check out the other DT gals' work, too!

I started this card by printing out the squirrel, basket of nuts, and punny sentiment from the Just Nutty set.  These images are SO fun and they work for a variety of seasons--this is definitely a set you want to check out!  I added a bit of glossy accents to the squirrels eyes and some glitter on the flower center and bow on the nut basket for a bit of added texture.

I also added some texture around the sentiment with some liquid pearls.  I just LOVE a punny sentiment, and the Just Nutty set is full of them!  If you're a bit punny, like me, you have got to grab this set if only for the sentiments!

Theses elements were then all layered onto a card base comprising of patterend paper, a doily, and some grosgrain ribbon. Voila!  The final project once more, all finished!

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my card!  I hope you come and join in our current monthly challenge over on the Doodle Pantry blog and that you grab some of the newest items for sale in the store!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping!

Doodle Pantry: Nature

Hey, friends!  I'm back today with a card using some digital elements from Doodle Pantry and this time I've gone with just a HINT of color.  I hope you'll like it!

Here's my card~

Doodle Pantry products used:
Deer Trio (sentiment)
Salutations Francais (paper)

I really love this sentiment and so I decided I wanted it to kind of stand alone somehow.  A few butterfly punches and a doily did the trick!  Those top butterfly pieces are actually silver butterfly sequins--it was hard to get a good picture of them because they shine so much!  The butterfly trails were made using Liquid Pearls--the easiest accent to use ever!

I love vintage looking images and hadn't made a vintage card for some time, so I decided to grab out my distressed and muted toned patterned papers and accents.  I added some crackle accents to the clock face to give the whole thing a more aged feel.  There is one thing about this card that cracks me up--something I didn't notice until the whole thing was done.  Do you see it?  Comment below if so!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I hope you head on over to the Doodle Pantry blog to join in the fun of our monthly challenge.  Don't forget to grab all the newest products from the store, too! HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you all!

Doodle Pantry: Shabby Birthday

Hi there!  Hope your week has gone by nicely and that you're having a great day! :)  I'm back with another creation using digital elements from Doodle Pantry.  This time I've made a shabby birthday card that was given to my mom for her birthday a few weeks ago!  Check it out...

Here's my card~

Products used: Cute Cake (sentiment), Joyful Day (image)

I LOVE that the images from Doodle Pantry come precolored because it really takes some of the stress out of creating something lovely!  Even though this cake is from a wedding set, I thought it worked wonderfully as a birthday cake.  I LOVE when images can be used for more than one purpose!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my creation and for the love you leave with your sweet comments!  Here's to a great weekend for each of you!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping!
