Christmas 24: Christmas Trees


Hello, friends! I am SO excited to be sharing another card created for the *NEWEST* holiday card challenge, Christmas 24! If you follow along, you will have 24 cards made before the Christmas holiday each year! Challenges are biweekly on the 1st and 15th of the month, and this time's challenge is CHRISTMAS TREES. Make sure your card has at least one on it!  Take a peek at my creation...

I layered about 10 punched trees on top of each other, then added a star and washi tape (cut in half, lengthwise) from Fun Stampers Journey to create my Christmas tree. All papers and embellishments are from Fun Stampers Journey, but the punch is from Stampin' Up!. Thank you, LeAnn, for letting me raid your stash! It was such a fun day! :)


I adore how these two papers work together, and they just happen to be one sheet of double sided patterned paper!!! SO perfect! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Christmas 24: Make a Scene


Hello, friends! I am SO excited to be sharing another card created for the *NEWEST* holiday card challenge, Christmas 24! If you follow along, you will have 24 cards made before the Christmas holiday each year! Challenges are biweekly on the 1st and 15th of the month, and this time's challenge is MAKE A SCENE: CREATE A HOLIDAY SCENE.  Take a peek at my creation...

I used some fun mountain and tree dies from Darice/Consumer Crafts on this creation. I highlighted these die cuts with Sakura gel pens. I did some sponging for a turquoise sky using ink from Stampin' Up! and added a sentiment from an unknown stamp set, punched with Stampin' Up! punches. I love this scene!




I backed the focal panel with paper from Stampin' Up!. All cardstock is from The Stamps of Life. I adore this clean and layered creation! What do you think? I would love to hear in the comments below!

Paper Sweeties May 2017 New Release Party!


Hey, all!  It's time for another Paper Sweeties release!  We've got three new stamp sets and a very versatile Sweet Cuts set, too! You will love these products!  Today I've made a fun soccer themed card to share with you.  Take a peek...


I used Jake stamp and the Jake Sweet Cut along with the *NEW* Score stamp set to create my little soccer player. Jake was colored with Spectrum Noir markers and the outfit was paper pieced.


The sentiment is also from the *NEW* Score stamp set. I colored in the outline letters with a Sakura glitter gel pen for some added color and shine.


A trio of glittery enamel stars in a masculine color scheme finished of this creation. I think it's adorable--what do you think? I can't wait to hear what you think about my creation in the comments below! :)

MHKDesigns: Forever Wave Special Release

Paper Sweeties November Release Party!


Hi, friends!  It's time for another monthly release for the Paper Sweeties Boutique, and we have some SUPER FABULOUS holiday products to share with you this month!  My offering today is a fun holiday living room scene.  Take a peek...


This card uses the *NEW* Stand Add-On: Fireplace acrylic stamp set, the *NEW* Dear Santa acrylic stamp set, the Trim the Tree acrylic stamp set, and the Trim the Tree Sweet Cuts die set.

 


I had LOTS of fun paper piecing, coloring, layering, and finishing this card!  I LOVE the way it turned out--the bright colors make me so happy!  I hope you like it, too!  Please leave me a comment to let me know your thoughts. :)
