Technique Time Tuesday: Faux Silk

Ho, ho, ho!  Merry Christmas Eve everyone!  I've got one last card spotlighting a past technique we've had at Technique Time Tuesday--FAUX SILK!  I've used this fun technique to create a holiday card--to tell ALL of you Happy Holidays!

Here's the card~

I've used a snowflake punch by Martha Stewart, red gems by Recollections, a dry embossing folder by Sizzix, Spectrum Noir markers, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

Faux Silk: Remix

I've tried the Faux Silk technique a time or two, but never the way I've used it on the card I've got to share in this post!  The tutorial on it over at Inspired By Stamping is really good and this is a quick and easy way to create a faux silk background!

Technique Time Tuesday: Faux Silk

Wow, September!!!  I can't believe it!  We're only a few days in, but it seems like summer is coming to a close so quickly!  I just hope the temperature keeps dropping--it's been 100* and over the past few days!

Anyway, this post is to tell you about the new technique challenge we have for you this month at Technique Time Tuesday!!!  Its' called FAUX SILK and creates such a fun effect!
