FYI: Birch Lane

Hello, friends!  It's time for another fabulous challenge over at For Your Inspiration and this time around we have got the most gorgeous photo inspiration for you!

I've used a birch tree image by Clarity, a sentiment by Close to My Heart, a leafy stamp by Stampin' Up!, gold glimmer mist by Tattered Angels, a blending tool by Ranger, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

I just love the gorgeous birch trees in this photo and wanted to show some of the shine from the photo, hence the glimmer mist.  It's very subtle by when the light catches it, it is fabulous!

I've used stamps by Inkadinkado and Close to My Heart (texture stamp), liquid pearls and a blending tool by Ranger, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.  I LOVE lighthouses--it's kind of my our couple "thing"--and have had this lighthouse stamp for a few years now.  It hasn't seen ink too much so it was good to get it out and add some texture with stamping and other mediums!

FYI: "Lovers Lane"

So, the inspiration photo for this time's For Your Inspiration reminded me of Lovers Lane.  You know, from "Anne of Green Gables"?  If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should really read that series--they're amazing books!  Anway, I was really excited about creating something inspired by this photo!

I used stamps by Rubber Stamp Tapestry for the frame panel, a sentiment and all other supplies by Stampin' Up!.  Can you see the glitter glue?  I added it around the panels for some added texture and interest but wanted this card to be essentially simple in design to highlight the quote.

Hmmm...this photo we've got for you at For Your Inspiration this time around may seem a little out of place.  Is it autumn anywhere?  I suppose it is turning autumn for those in the southern hemisphere.  No matter, I just was excited to see these colors in January!

I just love this photo--it's so bold and bright!  I was very inspired by the trees and for some reason it reminded me of a fairy tale...just like the photo last time.  I guess I'm living in a fairy tale! ;)  Anyway, I hope you join in the fun because I'd love to see what YOU are inspired to make!
