CutCardStock: Happy Father's Day Card

Hi, friends!  I am so excited to be sharing another Father's Day card today using Basis Cardstock from the CutCardStock online store.  For a complete tutorial on how to create this card, please pop over to the CutCardStock blog!  Come and take a peek at my creation...

I stamped my image and sentiment onto White Basis Cardstock using Distress Markers.  I chose a masculine color scheme and a fun tie image to go along with the Father's Day theme.  These two pieces were then matted with Dark Orange Basis Cardstock.

I added these pieces to a panel of patterned paper and Dark Orange Basis Cardstock, then added the whole thing to a card base made with Blue Basis Cardstock.  No embellishments this time, some guys just don't like that, you know? ;)

Great Impressions: Birthday Presents

Hello again, friends!  I'm back with another card using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I have another birthday card--this time mostly monochrome with a fun POP of color!  Come and take a peek...

I used Distress Markers to color in this fun image--G479 Whimsical Gifts.  I added some fun colored enamel dots as well as more stamping using gray ink and C361 Confetti Swirl.

The sentiment was punched out and made into a tag.  This sentiment is A98 A Birthday Wish.  I added some coral ribbon to it for just a tad more color.

This main panel and sentiment were layered onto a card base that was gussied up with some monochrome patterned paper.  I think this card is super fun!  What do you think?  I'd love for you to let me know in the comments below!

Inspired By Stamping: Big Wonderful + Sneak Peek!

Hello, hello, stamping friends! It's time for another release at the Inspired By Stamping online store!!! Today, we are showcasing the *NEW* Big Wonderful stamp set.  It's a fabulous sentiment set and it is a MUST HAVE for your stash!  Take a peek at my card...

I just LOVE the way this new Big Wonderful stamp set looks heat embossed on vellum.  All these words come as separate stamps, so you can create TONS of looks with this versatile set!

The background on this card is actually a SNEAK PEEK of the *NEW* Polka Dots stamp set.  This is another MUST HAVE, and you will see more inspiration with this set later on in the week!

I added a few rhinestones for some shine, stapled the vellum to the card, and voila!  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this fun new Big Wonderful set!  What do you think? I'd love to hear in the comments below!

The Stamps of Life: Piggy Flip-It

Hi, friends!  I'm back with another fun piggy card--this one is a Flip-Its card!  This card also uses some of the newest stamps from The Stamps of Life, and fun, striped patterned paper.  Come and check it out...

These Flip-Its dies from The Stamps of Life are SO fun, I just knew I had to use the Piggy Bank Dies along with the Sizzix Large Circle Flip-Its Set to create a unique card!

I used some Love Story Collection Patterned Paper to decorate, along with Licorice cardstock for the base, and Strawberry, Candy, and Powdered Sugar cardstock to accent.  The sentiment is from the piggybank2stamp set and was stamped in Licorice ink.  I LOVE it!  What do you think?  I'd love for you to let me know in the comments below!

CASE-ing Christmas: Sentimentally Focused

Hi, friends!  I'm back today with another post to share our new challenge at CASE-ing Christmas!  We're using a past card of DT member Pat for our inspiration this time around...come and take a peek at it...

I totally LOVED the way that Pat's focus on the card was the sentiment.  I decided to go that same route, as well as CASE-ing the colors and layout.  Take a gander at my card...

This card was super fun to create!  I just used a Stampendous! set with a bunch of different sentiments and created my focal panel.  The fun polka dot bow is from The Stamps of Life.  Some glitter gel pen from Sakura was used to add a bit of shine. I think it turned out perfectly!  What do you think?  I'd love for you to let me know in the comments below!

Inspired By Stamping: Hello Summer!

Hi, all!  I'm here today with a fun card using some wonderfully summery stamps from the Inspired By Stamping online store.  I used a bright color combo and fun patterns on this one, and I think you're going to like it!  Come and take a peek...

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Summer Fun stamp set onto white cardstock.  I used a bright turquoise and black for a more summery feel.  Some baker's twine and rhinestones to accent the sentiment.

Next, I die cut a circle out of the sentiment panel using the Fancy Labels 3 Dies.  I stamped the palm tree image from the Summer Fun set onto some patterned paper and die cut that out with the same dies.  I decided to do a spotlight on the image, so I popped up the sentiment panel with dimensional foam, and let the sentiment stay flat on the red and black matting.

I then layered the main panel onto a card base that was prepped with some green and white patterned paper.  I really love these fun, bold colors, and fabulous patterns!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)
