CASE-ing Christmas: Our Last Challenge

Hi, friends!  It's time for another monthly challenge at CASE-ing Christmas.  Unfortunately, this will be our last challenge.  I am needing to take a step back from things in order to focus on schooling, and this challenge is one thing I must sadly leave behind.  THANK YOU to all of your participation and support at our challenge!  You are SO appreciated!

Our challenge this month is ANYTHING WINTER HOLIDAY GOES!  That's right!  If it's wintry or Christmasy, link it up!  We've got 3 mystery gifts up for grabs, so please join us for your chance to win one!  This challenge will only run until the 15th in order for our team to enjoy the holiday season with their friends and family.  All winners will be announced on Christmas day--the 25th!  Take a peek at my card...

I used a fun mitten die and baker's twine from Paper Sweeties for my mitten element.  The button is a retired button from Stampin' Up!.

The sentiment is from Great Impressions and is *NEW* in the store this month!  I LOVE the fun mix of fonts and how the words fall!

I made a quick video on how I completed this card to share with you how quick and easy a CAS holiday card can be...enjoy!

Thank you SO MUCH for joining in the fun with us at CASE-ing Christmas, friends!  I hope you take some time to join in the fun--I love seeing your creations!  Thank you again for all your support!  Until next time, HUGS and MERRY stamping, friends! :)

CASE-ing Christmas #31

Hello, friends!  It's time for another challenge at CASE-ing Christmas!  We are CASEing the fabulous Donna this month.  Take a peek at her beautiful card...

I LOVED the idea of using patriotic colors for a holiday card, so that's the main thing I CASEd, along with the red ribbon up top! Check out my take...

I used LOTS of glittery details on my card, heat embossed the sentiment with glitter embossing powder, and even added a glittery snowflake!  I LOVE a lot of sparkle and shine on holiday card. :)

I love this card--and I LOVE the patriotic colors for holiday cards!  I think this turned out to be nice and elegant.  I hope you agree!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think about my creation!

That's all for me right now, friends!  THANK YOU so much for stopping by!  I hope you come and join us at CASE-ing Christmas, and make sure to check out the inspiration from the other gals, too!

CASE-ing Christmas: Challenge #30

Dashing through the snow... I am SO excited that Christmas is getting closer and closer!  If you haven't started your holiday cards, I hope you join us at CASE-ing Christmas this month for our CASE challenge!  This month, we are CASEing the lovely Asha.  Take a peek at her card...

I LOVE the gorgeous snowy sky and lovely scene that Asha used for her card, so I decided to do something similar.  Check out my card...

I used a set from Close To My Heart to create my scene, but the sentiment is from the October 2015 Card Kit from The Stamps of Life.  I added faux snow pen, glitter, and liquid pearls after coloring with colored pencils.  I LOVE all the beautiful textures that are on this card--it looks so cool IRL!

To create a snowy sky like this, you need to start by stamping and heat embossing your snowflakes with clear embossing powder.  After you do that, and they cool, you sponge ink over them, then gently wipe the ink off of the flakes and voila!  I then added some liquid pearl dots for more shine and additional "snowflakes".

I absolutely adore the way this card turned out!  I was worried I'd mess it up, but taking it step by step helped me stay on track. ;)  I hope you like it, too--and please do leave me a comment below to tell me your thoughts!

That's all for me right now, friends!  THANK YOU so much for stopping by!  I hope you come and join us at CASE-ing Christmas, and make sure to check out the inspiration from the other gals, too!

CASE-ing Christmas: Snowman Time!

Hi, all!  It's time for another monthly challenge at CASE-ing Christmas--and I am the one you have to CASE this month!  I hope you find something inspirational in my previously made card.  Take a peek...

I decided to use Paper Sweeties stamps and sequins again, but a different set.  The set I went with is called Snow Friends.  Take a peek at my take on my previous card!

I created another fun wintery scene with these stamps. I stamped the snowflakes onto paper, watercolored them, then die cut them out.  I added some sequins to add more "snowfall".

The snowman pieces were stamped onto three different papers, then die cut and put together.  I love this fun set--there are different elements to create all sorts of unique snowmen!

I added some glittery "snow" to the bottom of the card base.  The "sky" is more patterned paper, too.  I just adore this fun card!  I hope you do, too!  Please tell me your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you so very much for stopping by today, friends!  That's all for me for now!  I hope you take some time to leave a bit of love with the other amazing gals on this DT--especially our NEWEST GAL, Lisa!  When you're done being inspired, I hope you create something and link it up with our current challenge!  Until next time, HUGS and Merry Stamping! :)

CASE-ing Christmas: Trimmings!

Hi, all!  It's time for another challenge for CASE-ing Christmas--AND WE'VE GONE TO MONTHLY CHALLENGES!  That's right!  Each month, on the 5th starting at 6:00am CST, we will start a full month challenge for you to link up your holiday creations!  This month, we are CASE-ing our lovely Steph!  Check out her GORGEOUS original card...

http://onecraftychica.blogspot.com/

Isn't that absolutely STUNNING?!  I adored the fun CAS, yet vintage, feel.  I kept the layout and the feel, but did some different colors.  Take a peek...

The trims are a mix of ribbon, crocheted trim, and some glitter paper.  The glitter paper had a beautiful snowflake print (you've seen it here before), and so I just trimmed around the print to create a fun shaped border.

The sentiment is from a fun Close To My Heart stamp set.  I punched it out and layered more punched pieces for a mat.  It was added to the card with some dimensional foam for more texture.

The last step was to add some enamel dots to the card base.  I just love the way this turned out!  I hope you like it, too!  I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts in the comments below. :)

I've made a few cards using different sponsor products, and I'll be sharing them throughout the 2 weeks of the hop.  Today I'm sharing my card using darling digital image from Polkadoodles!  I CASEd THIS card and used the houndstooth, large colored image, and bling as my inspiration. Take a peek...

The image I used is called Hollybobs Sleightime, and I colored it using Spectrum Noir markers.  Isn't is just darling?!  I then added some glitter for more shine.  The sentiment is one I designed and is also up for grabs in a prize package on the blog.

Some punched glitter paper banners and some red cardstock for matting finished this off!  I really thing this is super darling and that it will be kinda hard to part with.  ;)  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
