The Stamps of Life: Flamingo Birthday Party

Hi, friends!  I've got a super fun card to share with you today.  It uses the *NEW* flamingo products from The Stamps of Life, and it's perfect for the beginning of summer!  Take a peek...

The image was made using the flamingos2stamp set and the Flamingo Die Set.  I kept the colors simple and just added some glitter, felt daisies, and seam binding ribbon to accent this fun feathered friend!

The sentiment is from the sayings4flamingos set.  I think it's PERFECT for a pink birthday card, don't you? A few rhinestones and patterned paper dress up this part of the card.

I am SUPER pleased with the way this card turned out!  I hope you like it, too!  I'd love to hear your opinion, so please do leave me a comment below!

I'd like to enter this card into these fabulous challenges~

Get Well Lily

Hi, friends!  I've been a bit under the weather, and so I'm sharing a "Get Well Soon" card to say thank you to all of those who have asked about me!  It's so nice to know that this community is so supportive and kind. :)  This card uses some fun products from The Stamps of Life.  Take a peek...

The beautiful lily and lily pad were made using the stamps from the lily4me stamp set.  I stamped the lined flower image in Guava ink onto Candy cardstock, then fussy cut it.  I heat embossed the lily pad image with frosty/iridescent embossing powder on top of some Ocean cardstock, then fussy cut it out.

The sentiment is one of the *NEWEST* dies from The Stamps of Life--the Get Well Die Set!  I LOVE that it is the sentiment AND the shadow--it makes layering and crafting SUPER quick and easy!

These elements and other bits of embellishment were added to a Sizzix Playful Stand-Ups card base.  I LOVE the way it turned out--I think the colors are super pretty!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'd like to enter my card into these fabulous challenges~

Stocking Stand-Up

Hi, friends!  Is anyone else getting ready for the holidays with Christmas card making?!  I like to do mine throughout the year, but if you're not into that, September seems like a great month to start!  I've got a fun Christmas card to share with you today that uses *NEW* products from The Stamps of Life!  Take a peek....

I started by die cutting some Spearmint cardstock using the Sizzix Playful Stand-Ups dies.  I used some patterned paper from the Smiles Collection patterned paper pad and some Kiwi cardstock for layering. This little stocking was made with some Powdered Sugar cardstock, Licorice cardstock, Licorice ink, more paper from the same collection, the *NEW* stockings4Christmas set and the *NEW* Stocking Dies.  A bit of gray twine and some Strawberry Goosebumps accent this cute stocking.

The sentiments, both from the *NEW* stockings4Christmas set, were stamped onto more Spearmint cardstock and then embossed with silver EP.  The shine is super pretty!

To add more texture, I used the Sizzix Flowers/Dots 3 Pack Embossing Folders and some red grosgrain ribbon.

I really love this fun card!  I also love how these dies can stand up like a traditional card as well as like a stand-up fold!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
