Get ready...

...to not hear from me for a while!  IF I get time, I'll be posting some posts, but I won't have a ton of time for the next few weeks to post regularly, other than the scheduled DT post (hopefully they post...fingers crossed).  Okay, so there you have it!  I've got some cards I HAVE to show you before I leave, though!

Here's the first one~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

(Use markers--I used mine to color my stamp!)

(I've used up some of my washi tape, scraps, & rhinestones!)

(I used the Circles, Dry Embossing, Punches line.)

I had the idea to use lots of color to showcase my SU! markers and this was the perfect stamp!  I grabbed my washi tape and couldn't figure out how to use it until I realized it would make a fun fake ribbon bottom!  So, that's what I used it for!  Hope you like it--this card was super fun to make and I LOVE it! :)

Second card~

For these fabulous challenges~

This one totally had a mind of it's own...my original thought was to create some sort of brick wall or something, but then I spied this stamp set from Prima (not sure the name) and it had this wonderful border stamp and I KNEW I should use it!  Just a bit of bling and then I turned it into an aperture card...because that's fun!  Voila! ;)

Thanks for stopping by--I'll miss you all while I'm away but will look forward to seeing you when I return from my sister's wedding!  Happy stamping--and THANK YOU for being here! :)

Last post for tonight...

Okay, gotta be quick!  2 more cards to share and then I NEED to go to sleep.  I'm actually tired tonight and that hasn't happened for about 2 months!

First card~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

(Find my darling digi HERE for free!)

(You must use markers--I used mine to color in the digi)

(Like my little clouds to create a scene? My new favorite dies!)

Another little pup colored to look like my baby fur girl.  Scrunched up the image and then spritzed it with glimmer mist, sorta flattened it, and then heat dried it.  Layered it on and added all the extras!  I think it's darling!

Second card~

For these fabulous challenges~

This card uses a set given to me by a friend that I had yet to use!  I LOVE the vintage lightbulb images and all the darling sentiments that go along with them!  One layer stamped, dry embossed, then a bit of bling!  Easy peasy!

Thanks for stopping by--sorry to be so short!  Happy stamping! :)

Try, try again...

Yep.  I don't usually give up.  Much to my DH's dismay at times...but he's so supportive and I appreciate that in him!!! :)  So, if you read my last post about my EPIC FAIL, you'll know that I've been trying to redeem myself.  And so, I've got one more CAS card to show you tonight before I leave you all alone!

Here it is~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

This is my absolute favorite card that I made today.  The colors are so fun and summery, I used the lace border in a bit more of an appropriate way than the other card, and the bling...it's glorious!  I know lots of people don't think bling has a lot of place on CAS creations, but I beg to differ.  I LOVE IT!!!  And if you want to see some other amazing CAS cards with bunches of bling, pop on over HERE to Susan's blog and see some amazing entries from last week's OLW challenge! :)

A few thoughts on this sentiment--I used it a long while back (HERE) when I was going through a rough time.  As I continue to try and do better each and every day at living the life that God would have me lead, I find inspiration everywhere!  I have taken this sentiment to heart and have also started looking outside of myself for inspirational places that I wouldn't normally go.  And it's been fabulous!  True happiness comes from living a Christ-centered life, and this quote by a non-Christian man (who is still my brother) has helped me to see that even more.  I am so grateful that we live in a world where sharing our inspiration is so easy to do because of technology!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my card--I hope you like it! I'll see ya soon, and don't forget to have fun while creating out there!  Happy stamping!!!

Welcome to...

...Mynnette epically fails and tries to redeem herself night! ;)  Yes.  I mess up.  A LOT.  I occasionally (putting it lightly) HATE strongly dislike my creations.  And since I rarely share those, I felt like I should today.  Because it is a reminder to myself to DO BETTER.  (DISCLAIMER--you may think this card is ok/pretty/love it...but I DO NOT.  Thank you for your sympathy.  This is not a pity party.  I just want to share the fact that I do not always make beautiful cards like I would like to.)

Here is my epic fail~

Epic Fail details~

Was supposed to be for these fabulous challenges~

(I was trying to be inspired by Heather's
amazing layered borders...FAILED.)

I will not be linking up this completely, utterly, epic fail to these fabulous challenges.  But please play along with them!  Like I said above, this is not a pity party.  Nor am I searching for comments like, "Oh, Mynnette!  I have NO CLUE what you're talking about--this is lovely!"  You'd be lying.  So please, just don't. ;)  On the other hand, Susan, Heather, or Cheryl, if you've popped by, I'd like to have your opinion on where I went wrong, please!!!  I've tried to redeem myself.  Please let me know if you think my attempt has done so!

Here is my chance at redemption~

For these fabulous challenges~

(LOVE using dry embossed lines on my one layer cards!)

(This is the ultimate happy quote)

Less is More: One layer + 3s
(groups of 3 rhinestones, group of 3 flowers,
groups of 3 dry embossed lines)

Yes.  This is way more to my liking!  I'm sorry about the awful photos--my DH is working on a lighting solution for me since I HATE strongly dislike spending money on things we can do for ourselves.  Anyway, back to the card!  MUCH BETTER.  My favorite one layer embellishment--dry embossed lines--with a simple sentiment, simple image, a bit of bling, and a bit of glitter!  I felt much better after making this card.  I was really worried that my mojo was gone!!!  Oh, and I made a third card, but you'll have to come back later to see it as I'm entering it into some of the same challenges as mentioned above. ;)

Thanks for stopping by--I hope to see you again and I can't wait to see your fabulous creations out in the blog world!!! Happy stamping, friends! :)

Two different card styles...

I've got two cards to share with you tonight.  It's been a crazy day and I am so tired...so I'm keeping it quick!

First card~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

(I used pearls, flowers, stamp)
SSBingo

I started by drenching a doily with my blue homemade glimmer mist and adding it to some patterned paper with ribbon on top.  I layered a sentiment from wonderful Jane Austen (one of my favorite authors!) with some punches flowers and leaves then added bling!  The pictures are not as good as IRL--the "black" is really navy blue paper...let's get on with this...

Second card~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

(used some of my rhinestone stash and die cuts I forgot I had)

(used my rhinestone stash & the cloud dies I forgot I had)

I've had this Dienamics cloud die set for about 2 months and haven't used it until now!  WHY?!  I have not clue.  I added a PTI sentiment that I haven't used yet and some other punches with a few rhinestones to create this fun sky scene.

Thanks for stopping by--hope you like what you see and join in these fabulous challenges!  Happy stamping! :)

Okay, really last one!

I know that I've posted quite a bit today, but I am so ECSTATIC about this card that I couldn't wait to show you all!!!!!!!!!!  My dear friend, Jacqueline, make the most amazing Christmas tree easel card, and that inspired me to make this card...

Here it is~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

(I used little teeny tiny flower to mimic white/red poinsettias)

(I used, ribbon, red, rhinestones, stars, shapes,
trimming, shimmery paper, Spellbinders, & sparkle!)

I know!  It's awesome!  I LOVE IT!  It's gotta be the best easel I ever made...since I've now only made about 10. ;)  What do YOU think?!  I hope you like it!  Let me know if you do!  Thanks for stopping by--if you want more info on how to make this card, please email me!  Button's on the side!  Merry stamping!!! :)
