Fairies...

***WARNING: PHOTO HEAVY.
LITERALLY A TON OF PHOTOS.***

So, I don't do fairies.  I really don't.  Not sure why, exactly, but it's just not something I DO.  BUT, when I saw this free digital stamp over at the Graphic's Fairy, I immediately knew I had to use it!  I've made a set of four cards.  I'll show you each of them, so this post will be incredibly photo heavy...bear with me! :)  I'll start with my least favorite and work to my favorite...you don't have to agree with me. ;)

This set of cards for these fabulous challenges~

I started by coloring the images with watercolor pens and different inks.  After doing this, I sprayed them with my homemade glimmer mist and dried it with my heat gun until it was just a bit damp still.  After doing this, I dry embossed each one with a different embossing folder.  Then it I just had to attach my images to some cardstock and then place it on my embellished card fronts.  So easy, LOVE the effect!!!

Thanks for stopping by--I hope you like what you see!  Please join these fabulous challenges--happy stamping! :)

Primrose Blessings & Simply Jane Framed

I've popped away for a bit to show you another couple of cards card I've made this past weekend...one using a free digital primrose image from Free Vintage Digital Stamps and can be found here!

I did some research to see how to color the delicious primroses, and found some fabulous pictures of blue ones--and it coordinated with the colors in the Frilly & Funkie inspiration picture, so I decided to go with that! :)

Here's the card (sorry for the poor photo quality)~

I hope you like it!  I had fun finally using the postcard embossing folder I bought over a month ago! ;)

And here's the second card~

This card gave me fits.  I ruined about 5 pieces of acetate trying to get my vision into fruition!  But I have to say, it was worth it!  I LOVE the way this turned out! :)   Like I said above, this card really reflects my love for Jane Austen--I'm an Austen girl through and through!  I've learned so much about life from reading her books and I think I'd love to meet her right away when I get to heaven! ;)

Don't forget that I have blog candy, and I hope you join in some of these fabulous challenges!  Happy stamping, friends! :)
