52CCT: May Embellishment Challenge

Raise your hand if you love baker's twine.  Raise your hand if you have some.  If not, HERE'S a fabulous tutorial on how to make your own baker's twine!  You'll need it so you can join in the fun this week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown because we want to see some on your cards this week!

Here's a little motivation~

My card~

Details~

I used a sentiment by Close to My Heart, twine from Can You Digi It, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.  I wanted to keep this very CAS and make sure that the baker's twine was the crowning embellishment.  Did I succeed?!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my card! I hope it inspires you to create something for this week's challenge and I hope you go and take a look at the other amazing DT inspiration--it's fabulous!  Hugs and Merry stamping, friends! :)

well what can I say! You know I love this-the CAS design is wonderful-the sentiment doesn't need anymore. The twine is perfect and the score lines just highlight the sentiment perfectly.

Sorry, it was hard typing with my nose because both of my hands were raised (one for loving baker's twine, the other for owning some)! LOL

In all seriousness - your card is terrific, Mynn. The twine is absolutely perfect, and the scored lines frame the sentiment nicely. It's an excellent CAS creation.

This card is gorgeous! I love that you made the baker's twine the central focus. I absolutely LOVE the verse, too. Also the colors. I just love everything about it! PS Do you have that tutorial for making your own baker's twine? Maybe you forgot to put the link in?
