Great Impressions: Pink Easter Lilies

Hi, friends!  It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to share some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Since Easter is earlier this year, I'm sharing an elegant Easter card with you today.  Take a peek...

I stamped the image, G452 Easter Lily, and water colored it.  I added some sponging around the edges of the image panel, then distressed it and added some glitter for a bit more texture, too.

To accent the image, I added a bow with a fake flower in the center.  I kept it all pink, wanting to keep my colors simple.

I didn't add a sentiment to this card, because I think that if it doesn't get used at Easter this year, it might be used for a birthday or just because card, too!  I hope you like it, and I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Washi Thanks

Hi, all!  I'm popping in today to share a fun card I made using washi tape, dies, and more fabulous products from The Stamps of Life!  Take a peek...

I started by cutting some patterned paper and die cutting the shadow die from the Thanks Die Set from the paper.  I added various washi tapes in a diagonal pattern to add more color.

I then used dimensional foam to pop the washi/patterned paper panel up onto a piece of Guava cardstock.  I die cut the word die from the Thanks Die Set out of Kiwi cardstock and added it to the cut out panel.

I then added some seam binding ribbon and enamel dots.  I think this turned out to be pretty fun!  I hope you agree!  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so much for popping by today, friends!  I hope you take some time to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges!  Go grab these fun products from The Stamps of Life, too!  They are so fun to work with!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Great Impressions: Rose Bucket

Hi, friends!  It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to share some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  I  made a CAS nearly one layer card using a fun image and some dry embossing for you today.  Take a peek...

The image, F555 Bucket of Flowers, was stamped directly onto the card base, then colored with colored pencil, and embellished with some Stickles.  I LOVE the whimsy of this image!  All it needed to accent it was a few pink enamel dots!

The sentiment, D459 Sweetest Dreams, was stamped onto vellum, then added to the card base.  The enamel dots that were added to accent the image also help hold the vellum into place, along with the staples added to either side.

To create an anchor for my image, I dry embossed a fun lacy pattern to the bottom of the card base, then added some denim ribbon to hide the embossed top border that doesn't look that nice. ;)  I like the texture that the denim ribbon adds, and I really like the way this card turned out.  I hope you agree--and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

MHKDesigns: February Challenge

Hello, everyone!  I am back today with another card for our new challenge over at MHKDesigns!  We have a really pretty photo/color inspiration for you this month, and I can't wait to see what you create with it!  Take a peek at the inspiration...

You can be inspired by the photo, the color, OR if you use MHKDesigns products, you can link up ANYTHING you want!  I was inspired by the colors this time around, and I really hope you like what I made!  Take a peek at my creation...

I used a butterfly image from the Beginnings & Endings set.  I colored it in with Spectrum Noir markers, then added some Stickles for some texture and shine.

This sentiment is from the *NEW* Birds & Branches set.  I printed it onto vellum, then layered it over the butterfly image and added a few rhinestones for even more sparkle.  Some papers and ribbon help to anchor the card, especially the sentiment.

The card base was gussied up with some paper from the Damsel in Distress paper pack, then faux stitched with a Glaze gel pen from Sakura.  I think these colors are PERFECT for our challenge, don't you?  I would LOVE to hear what you think of my card in the comments below! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you hop over to join in our monthly challenge at MHKDesigns!  There are prizes for each one, and you can use any products you'd like! :) Don't forget to leave some love with the other gals on this wonderful DT, too!

MHKDesigns: Easter Blessings

It's time for a new release at MHKDesigns and the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop has been stocked with the new digital stamp set and digital paper packs!  Today we are showcasing the *NEW* Easter Blessings set.  Take a peek at what I made...

I decided to decorate a treat box to show off one of the fun frames and sentiments from the Easter Blessings set.  I added a POP of color with some paper blooms and rhinestones, but kept the digital elements black and white.

To tie in the pink from the body of the box, I added a pink seam binding bow to the handle.  I think this is SO fun, and it will be a pretty Easter gift come the holiday!  What do you think?  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

So, now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about how to get this new set OR the entire release for FREE!  Here's what you'll need to do...
  1. Comment on the MHKDesigns blog.
  2. Comment on each DT member's blog.
