Summer Dandelions

Hello, friends! I am back to share a card I created to try and force my mojo to return. I’ll let you decide on the results!

I decided to use dies and stamps that had never been used as my inspiration. I had a lot of fun deciding on how to create depth and texture with the dies, and the use of shimmery cardstock was meant to mimic dewy summer mornings.

Overall, this experience actually did really help me get some crafty mojo back, and I do love the way this turned out! I’m sharing it with the fabulous challenges linked below.

Cut It Up: Feeling Blue (I hope I’ve used enough blue!)

Ellibelle’s Corner: Something Blooming Lovely

Addicted to Stamps & More: Dies/Stencils

Path of Positivity: Uplifiting

Stamps & Fun = Creativity: Choose a Season (summer)

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you take some time to create soon and, if you can, enter some or all of these amazing challenges! Until next time, HUGS and happy crafting, friends!

Amuck!

Hello, friends! I have been sharing cards made with new sets from Vera Lane Studio with images inspired by Hocus Pocus, and that's the focus of this post! I already shared my card with Winifred and my card with Mary, and today I am back with the final Sanderson sister--Sarah!

I used a box card set from The Stamps of Life for the main base of this creation, patterned paper from Honey Bee Stamps, and a bunch of different dies to add details. The sentiment and main image are from the Sarah set from Vera Lane Studios.

This card will lay "flat" for shipping purposes, which I love! I think this turned out super fun, and I am glad to have now completed my Sanderson sister trio!

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~

I chose black, spooky sentiment, spider. And, technically, witches. ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends! I hope you take some time to create soon and, if you can, enter some or all of these amazing challenges! Until next time, HUGS and happy crafting, friends!

Let Us Form a Calming Circle

Hello, friends! I posted a few days ago that I had seen new sets at Vera Lane Studio with images inspired by Hocus Pocus, so of course I HAD to get these amazing sets! I already shared my card with Winifred, and today I am back with Mary!

I used a die set from The Stamps of Life for my card base and some of the layering pieces--specifically the ones on the "top". The BOO! sentiment is from Great Impressions and, unfortunately, not available anymore.

I used the Vera Lane Studio sentiment as the prop up for this easel card. The spider web pattern is from another Great Impressions stamp. The patterned papers I used are from Honeybee Stamps. I colored the image with alcohol markers before fussy cutting it and adding it to the front with dimensional foam.

I had a ton of fun making this card, and I love the way it turned out! For one of the challenges I am entering, I have to explain why I like either Halloween or Fairies better, and I chose this card to enter for that reason! I LOVE Halloween. It's a time of year when children get excited and you get to dress up as someone or something else. As a teacher, it is one of my absolute favorite times of the school year because of all the fall fun we can have! I do love fairies, but if they are in competition with Halloween, Halloween has to win. Also...it includes fairies, technically! ;)

I am entering this creation into the following fabulous challenges~

As You Like It: Halloween or Fairies & WHY

CD Sunday Plus: Anything CD/USB/Digital

Crafting Happiness: Halloween

Make My Monday: Autumn Colors

Inspiration Station: Inspiration Photo

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends! I hope you take some time to create soon and, if you can, enter some or all of these amazing challenges! Until next time, HUGS and happy crafting, friends!

There are SO fun and simple to make! Just grab some scraps of patterned paper (I used patterned paper from The Stamps of Life), cardstock (The Stamps of Life and Stampin' Up!), and glitter paper (?). I added some rhinestones from Want 2 Scrap and liquid pearls by Ranger onto my creations. The punches are from Stampin' Up! and EK Success. You could also use dies! TRCC #19: Pastel Rainbow

Hi, all! Happy JUNE! How has your summer started? I hope you are all well and staying safe! This month, we have another of our twice a year rainbow challenges for you! This month's challenge is called Pastel Rainbow! Take a peek at our fun inspiration for this month...

SO much inspiration there, don't you agree? I LOVE it! I really wanted to make the soft colors I used to POP here and there, so I went for a LOT of white with hints of pastel rainbow! Here's what I came up with...

I created this card with a bunch of washi's from my stash, a new Darice embossing folder, a die cut sentiment from Spellbinders, and papers from The Stamps of Life. I added some hints of color to the embossed panel with Sakura gel pens.

I totally love how this card turned out! I got to use some of my washi stash, and I love the way the embossing looks on the white card with hints of color! What do you think? I would love to hear your opinion about it in the comments below!

If you're looking for even more inspiration, you should take a peek at what the other amazingly talented gals on the design team have created, too!

Christmas 24: Blue & Gold

Hello, friends! I am SO excited to be sharing another card created for  Christmas 24If you follow along, you will have 24 cards made before the Christmas holiday each year! Challenges are biweekly on the 1st and 15th of the month, and this time's challenge is BLUE & GOLD

Take a peek at my creation...

I actually went more of a turquoise blue for my card than true blue. I saw this fun snowy patterned paper that I had purchased YEARS ago (probably about 10 or more!), and I just HAD to use it. I also used some glitter paper from my stash, cardstock and letter dies from The Stamps of Life, a glitter enamel dot from Doodlebug Designs, and punches from Stampin' Up!

I think this turned SO fun! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
