Summer Dandelions

Hello, friends! I am back to share a card I created to try and force my mojo to return. I’ll let you decide on the results!

I decided to use dies and stamps that had never been used as my inspiration. I had a lot of fun deciding on how to create depth and texture with the dies, and the use of shimmery cardstock was meant to mimic dewy summer mornings.

Overall, this experience actually did really help me get some crafty mojo back, and I do love the way this turned out! I’m sharing it with the fabulous challenges linked below.

Cut It Up: Feeling Blue (I hope I’ve used enough blue!)

Ellibelle’s Corner: Something Blooming Lovely

Addicted to Stamps & More: Dies/Stencils

Path of Positivity: Uplifiting

Stamps & Fun = Creativity: Choose a Season (summer)

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you take some time to create soon and, if you can, enter some or all of these amazing challenges! Until next time, HUGS and happy crafting, friends!

Scrap Hoarders vol. 1: Embellishments

Hi, friends! I'm back with a fun idea for how to use your PAPER SCRAPS! Yes, we ALL have them. And it's a shame to let them go to waste, so join me and an amazing group of gals as we share projects and ideas over the next three weeks for the Scrap Hoarders 3-Week Hop on YouTube! This week we are sharing how to use scraps to make embellishments!

DID I MENTION THERE ARE PRIZES UP FOR GRABS???
Check out the videos for all the details on how to win!
THESE PRIZES ARE AVAILABLE FOR INTERNATIONAL VIEWERS, TOO!

Here are the embellishments I made~

There are SO fun and simple to make! Just grab some scraps of patterned paper (I used patterned paper from The Stamps of Life), cardstock (The Stamps of Life and Stampin' Up!), and glitter paper (?). I added some rhinestones from Want 2 Scrap and liquid pearls by Ranger onto my creations. The punches are from Stampin' Up! and EK Success. You could also use dies! Click HERE for the process video!!!

I really adore these! I love the bright colors and how they POP off the neutral/soft tones! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

TRCC #18: Vivaciously Violet

Hi, all! Happy MAY! Have you been surviving the quarantine/shut down/whatever your area is calling it? I hope you are all well and staying safe! This month, we decided to use a cool toned color for our inspiration at The Rainbow Card Challenge, and I hope you love it! This month's challenge is called Vivaciously Violet! Take a peek at our fun inspiration for this month...

SO much inspiration there, don't you agree? I LOVE it! I was very inspired the different patterns and textures to use up some washi tape! Here's what I came up with...

I created this card with a bunch of washi's from my stash, my favorite butterfly punches from Stampin' Up!, a sentiment from Inlovearts, and some liquid pearls and glittery paper.

I totally love how this card turned out! I got to use some of my washi stash, and I love the way the patterns go together! What do you think? I would love to hear your opinion about it in the comments below!

If you're looking for even more inspiration, you should take a peek at what the other amazingly talented gals on the design team have created, too!
