Paper Sweeties November 2015 Inspiration Challenge

Hi, all!  It's time for another monthly challenge over at Paper Sweeties, and there's some beautiful inspiration for you to use when you create!  Check it out...

I decided to create a fun Thanksgiving card using some of the colors in this inspiration, Jake, and his cute turkey friend!  Take a peek...

Like I said, I used Jake, the Jake Sweet Cut die, and the Gobble Gobble stamp set on this card.  I'm afraid I messed up the pilgrim outfit on Jake, but I think he still looks ok. ;)  I paper pieced them both, added some Glaze gel pen, Wink of Stella gold marker, and heat embossing for texture and shine.

The banner was made using the Birthday Banners set, the Birthday Banners Sweet Cuts dies, and some gold sequins.

The sentiment was stamped onto gold paper, and layered onto the card base along with a doily, crocheted trim, a button, and gold elastic cording.  I LOVE this card, and I hope you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!

Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek!  If you'd like to see more inspiration, join the hop and check out all the other gals' creations--you will NOT be disappointed!

Here's the hop list~

You Rock--Thank You!

Hi, all! I'm back with a fun flip-it card using *NEW* dies from The Stamps of Life!  There's NO stamping on this one...which is totally different for me!  Check it out...

This card uses the *NEW* Rectangle Flip-Its dies.  It comes with 18 dies--including flowers, centers, and sentiments WITH SHADOWS!  I LOVE this set--it is an amazing deal!  I used patterned papers from the Ho Ho Ho Collection.

I added some rhinestone flowers, glitter, and yellow seam binding ribbon to help embellish the different sides of the card.  I LOVE these fun flower dies--especially the ones with center sentiments like I used on the inside.

I think the mix of colors and patterns on this card are really fun.  I hope you do, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. :)

I'd like to enter this card with these fabulous challenges~

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you take some time to join in these fun and fabulous challenge!  That's all for me right now.  I'll be back again soon!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, all! :)

Great Impressions: Merry Christ-MOOSE!

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  This one features one of my favorite holiday images...and lots of bling!  Take a peek...

This image is called G474 Decorated Moose.  I water colored it, added some glittery gel pen to the string of lights, and made the snow look crystally with some Stickles!

I added a bunch of berries and flowers, plus pearls, to accent the image.  I also added doily parts and faux stitching for more texture.

I REALLY like the way this card turned out!  I know it will need to be hand delivered, but I'm ok with that. ;)  I'd love to hear what you think of this card in the comments below! :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Light of the World

Hello, all, and happy weekend! :)  I've got a few minutes and thought I'd pop in really quickly to share a card I made using some *NEW* products from The Stamps of Life! :)  Check it out...

I love the sentiments from the *NEW* light4Jesus stamp set--the mix of fonts is totally fabulous!  They also work perfectly with the *NEW* lightbulb2stamp and patterns4lightbulb sets!  This sentiment was heat embossed onto some vellum before being stapled to the image panel.

I added some yellow and white baker's twine and a Banana button to the top for some extra texture and interest.  I kept the color scheme simple so that the stamps could do the talking! ;)

Such a quick card to create!  I LOVE the clean feel that was accomplished because of the simple colors and fabulous bold patterns.  I hope you like it, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts. :)

I'd like to enter this card with these fabulous challenges~
