MHKDesigns: April Challenge + Caring Crocus Release

Hello and happy April, everyone! I'm here today to share a card for this month's challenge at MHKDesigns. As you know, I've revamped how my Etsy shop will be running this year, so our challenge posts will ALSO include a monthly release set! This month's set is called...

And here is our challenge inspiration:

This month's card's focal panel (that was interesting to type!) was created in Photoshop. Here is the completed card:

I made the image from the Caring Crocus set white and did some watercolor brushing behind. I was inspired by the colors in this month's photo inspiration!

I chose to use the scripture from the Caring Crocus set as my sentiment. I think this is a wonderful reminder of God's love and mercy to us all!

Some yellow gingham ribbon, silver elastic cording, and a purple flower shaped button finished off this card. I matted the panel with black before adding it to the card front. I do love this card and hope you do, too! I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks for stopping by, friends! Come join in the fun on the MHKDesigns blog for your chance to win some digi goodies from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Until next time, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends!

French Fry Box Gift Card Holder

Hey, all! I'm back with another fun paper creation using *NEW* products from The Stamps of Life? Today I want to share a gift card holder with a fun twist!  Take a peek...

I used the *NEW* frenchfries2stamp set, the French Fry Box Die, and the Have a Super Sized Day Die Set to create this fun gift card holder.  I used colors reminiscent of fast food restaurants to go with the french fry theme. ;)

To jazz my gift card holder up a bit, I added some kiwi seam binding ribbon and a fun chevron button to the side.  I really like the way they accent the sentiment!

A gift card is all that is needed before this can be given away!  I think it turned out really cute!  I hope you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below and let me know what you think!

Thank you so much for popping by today, friends!  I hope you take some time to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges!  Go grab these fun products from The Stamps of Life, too!  They are so fun to work with!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Super-Sized Birthday

Hey, all!  The Stamps of Life has a SUPER fun release this month--and I KNOW you will love it!  It's all about french fries!  Take a peek at a fun birthday card I made with this *NEW* set...

This set uses the *NEW* frenchfries2stamp set along with the Sizzix Happy Birthday Step-Up dies.  I think these images and sentiments are SUPER awesome!  The fries are really fun to paper piece, so that's what I did!

I added some seam binding ribbon and enamel shapes to accent the card.  I think this turned out to be SUPER perfect for any birthday, and I hope you agree!  Please leave me a comment below and let me know what you think!

I'm entering this into these fabulous challenges~
