Husband vs. Crafter: Father's Day?

Hi, friends! I'm back today to share my most recent card made for my Husband vs. Crafter series on my YouTube channel! What's Husband vs. Crafter? Click HERE to go to my video for today for all the details!

Here's the card I created~

I used products from The Stamps of Life, Stampin' Up!, Hemptique, Inspired By Stamping (out of business), and some washi from my stash. I had tons of fun, so I hope you join the journey I took by watching my video! It is kinda funny...at least, I think so!

I do really enjoy how this card turned out. It is totally different from anything I've done before! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, my friends! I will be back again soon with more inspiration and YouTube videos! Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello, friends! Happy Thanksgiving! I am so grateful for all of you and so much more! I just LOVE this time of year! The weather is getting cooler (for which this teacher who has recess duty NEEDS), spirits are high, and the opportunities to share and give are endless! Today I have a card that I made using digital elements from Ooh La La Scraps with a thankful sentiment. This card was made for one of the staff members at the school I work at. It takes a focused team to help, and I am so thankful for all the amazing people I get to work with daily!

Ok, so technically this is two cards. One that is plain and flat (this is the one that went to the coworker--he isn't into frills, but our staff needed to thank him), and the other has some twine, Card Candi, and a key charm added for some texture and interest. This card is yet to be given, but it will be soon, I hope! The digital paper and images are from the Nearly Fall digital scrapbooking kit from Ooh La La Scraps. I created the layering and sentiment myself, and put the focal panels together using Adobe Photoshop.

I totally adore the way these turned out! The simple fall vibe really makes my heart happy right now. I hope you like them, too! I can't wait to hear your comments below--they totally make my day!

Punny Thank You

Hi, friends! I hope you all had a happy, safe, and enjoyable Independence Day if you live in the USA. We spent time with family and it was GRATE! Which brings me to this post's card...

I used patterned paper, cardstock, and ink from Stampin' Up!, stamps and die from Close To My Heart, and embellishments from a smattering of places for this card. I LOVE puns, so this sentiment and image combo make my heart happy!

I think this cards turned out beautifully, and I hope you agree! I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek! I will be back sometime later with another crafty creation to share. Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

MHKDesigns: Happy Birthday!

Hello, my friends!  I don't know about you, but this month has been SUPER busy! So, what better to share with you today than a card that was SUPER quick and easy to make--but also looks bright and cheerful?! That's what I've got for ya, and it uses this month's FREEBIE PANEL from the MHKDesigns blog!  Take a peek...

This card uses an image and sentiment from the NEWLEY RELEASED "And Many More" digital stamp set from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop. I decided to keep this card simple and NOT add color to the time. Instead, I added it with embellishments and paper from the Radiant Rainbows digital paper pack!

I totally adore the way this turned out--and it would be SUPER easy to make this masculine, as well! Just change the embellies and papers! What do you think?!  I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! Hop over to the MHKDesigns blog to grab this freebie panel, and then don't forget to use it to enter our monthly challenge in May! Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
