Merry Christmas Clocks!

Hi, friends! Sorry I've been so quiet this month. I have still been healing from surgery and trying to also recover from an upper respiratory infection gifted to me by a student as an early Christmas gift! ;) I love my job, but the germs are really making it hard this year!

BUT, let's move on to happier things! I have a gift idea that I want to share with you! I gave these as Christmas gifts, but they would make a wonderful Valentine gift, as well! Take a peek...

These were VERY easy to put together. I just purchased 2 clocks from WalMart, then opened them up and added photos. The "sentiment" was made with stickers. Here are some close-ups...

I love them and am so happy with how they turned out! I hope this has inspired you to create today! Thanks for stopping by and MERRY CHRISTMAS! I'll be back more in the upcoming year! Until then, HUGS and happy crafting!

I started by creating a digital panel with some soon to be released digital paper and the image from the Holiday Deer digital stamp set. I colored the image with colored pencils and then added some Stickles and Liquid Pearls to accent the image.

I matted the panel in black, then added some twine, a button, and a sentiment from the Santa's Sleigh digital stamp set, framed in silver glitter paper for added texture.  I love the way this turned out! I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

MHKDesigns: So Grateful

Hi, friends! I hope your November treated you well! Mine started out a bit rough, but it got better! I am back today to share about my month and a digital mixed media, triple time stamped card and I made using products from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop. Take a peek...

I am extra grateful for a lot of things in my life today. I had to undergo emergency surgery at the end of October and the recovery took up about half of November. I am so grateful to everyone who helped me during that time, so I thought I'd share a card with a thankful theme! :) This card uses a sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts digital stamp set and images from the I've Been Framed, Chicken In, and Fabulously Fall digital stamp sets.

I printed the panel I created in Photoshop three times so that I could die cut them to create a triple time stamped focal panel. A few pearls and paper leaves finished this off. I LOVE the way it turned out! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

That's all I have for you today, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by! I always love to hear from you, so please do let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Don't forget to head over to the MHKDesigns blog for more inspiration and join in our *NEW* challenge tomorrow for your chance at winning some digital goodies from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Until next time, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends!

MHKDesigns: November Challenge

Hi, friends! I'm here to share some cards I made using the inspiration from this month's challenge at MHKDesigns! It's November, so that means it's the last challenge of the year so that our team can have a holiday break! I do hope you'll come and play along! Take a peek at this month's inspiration...

I am in love with the sweet vintage images in this inspiration AND the holly theme! I decided to make another card trio using the same layout in different color schemes. Here is the set...

I colored this image digitally in Photoshop. The original color scheme was a cheery traditional bright red and green like in the photo inspiration! I used the Deck the Halls set and paper from the Stars & Stripes paper pack for this CAS offering...

Next up I softened the colors and used papers from the Simply Seasonal paper pack. I just love that you can use so many different papers with the same layout to get a completely new feel!

Last but not least, I went for a nontraditional pink and green! I love the vintage feel of this card--I used distressed papers from the Fully Feathered paper pack for this one!

A sprinkling of rhinestones and black matting finished off this set! I think they will mail easily and pack a festive BANG when opened! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks for stopping by, friends! Come join in the fun on the MHKDesigns blog for your chance to win some digi goodies from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Until next time, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends!

MHKDesigns: Witching You a Happy Halloween!

Hello, all! Happy Halloween! It's my first Halloween as a teacher, so I'm not quite sure what will happen, but my goal is to keep it as calm as possible. I'll let you know how that goes. ;) Anyway, today's post is all about Halloween and a digital print I made using digis from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!  Take a peek...

This print measures 8" x 10". I used Photoshop to create my gradient background, added some texture with a variety of brushes and styles, then added my sentiment and image, both from the Flight By Night digital stamp set. I just LOVE how versatile digital products are and how quick it is to create something fun and fabulous that you can print and use! Hop over to the MHKDesigns blog to get a FREE non-watermarked version of this print for your own personal use! :)

That's all I have for you today, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by! I always love to hear from you, so please do let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
