Hearts & Flowers Video Hop: DIY Dollar Tree Holiday Decor!
Hi, friends! Happy Valentine's Day!!! I am super excited to be joining the amazing Hearts & Flowers Video Hop today! We will all be sharing some video tutorials on how to create things with hearts and/or flowers, and I chose to use some Dollar Tree items to upcycle and create my own home decor!
Here's the Valentine's Day decor I created~
This project was very quick and simple to create. I painted the sides with black paint, Mod Podged patterned paper onto the front, then added heart accents from Dollar Tree! In my video, I give more details about this project AND create an Easter themed piece of the same size! If you'd like to take that journey with me and see the final product, please click HERE to get to the video on my YouTube channel!
There are prizes on some of the videos, so I hope you take the time to visit each stop! For the full list, please visit Monica's blog HERE! Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you have a wonderful day filled with love--because you ARE loved! Until next time, HUGS and happy crafting, friends!

Hoppy Easter!
Happy Saturday, friends! I have a sweet Easter card to share with you today. It uses a DARLING digi image drawn by the very talented Lee Holland, and a bunch of sweet embellishments. Take a peek...
I colored the image with colored pencils and added some Stickles for added shine and texture. I also added some seam binding ribbon from The Stamps of Life, a doily, black pearls, string, and a button from my stash, and patterned paper from Stampin' Up!.
I just adore the way this turned out! What do YOU think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~
I chose Bunnies & Flowers
Thanks again for stopping by, friends! I hope you have some time to create and that you all have a very happy Easter tomorrow! Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping!

MHKDesigns: Blessed Lily
Hello, friends! I hope your March is going by swimmingly! I am getting ready to go on a much needed and anticipated Spring Break! ;) But I digress. Today I'm back to share another card using the *NEW* Blessed Lily digital stamp set from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop. Take a peek...
I used Photoshop to create my focal panel. I used watercolor brushes to color in the image from the Blessed Lily set, but kept the flower itself white. I added some glitter to the flower for added shine.
I then layered a few shapes over the lily. I recolored part of the sentiment from the Blessed Lily set (want to know how--click HERE), and then added a fun marker scribble brush behind it for more depth. A few pearls add more texture and interest to this part of the card.
I then layered the focal panel with some fun glittery papers and added them on top of each other, using alternating angles. I love the way this turned out and hope you like it, too! I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
That's all I have for you today, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by! I always love to hear from you, so please do let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Don't forget to head over to the MHKDesigns blog for more inspiration and join in our *NEW* challenge for your chance at winning some digital goodies from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Until next time, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends!

MHKDesigns: March Challenge + Blessed Lily Release
And here is our challenge inspiration:
I decided to play around with Photoshop and create a two card set--one layered card, the other a one-layer card. Here are my cards...
Both of these cards use the same Photoshop-created panel and the *NEW* Blessed Lily digital stamp set. One was printed, then layered and gussied up...
And the other was kept one-layer with simple rounded corners added.
The layered card had some faux stitching added as a border. I love that using digital images make it super simple to create cards using the same product in a variety of ways! The possibilities are endless! What do you think? I would love to hear in the comments below! :)
Thanks for stopping by, friends! Come join in the fun on the MHKDesigns blog for your chance to win some digi goodies from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Until next time, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends!

MHKDesigns: Bunny Love Freebie!
Hi, friends! I've got another FREEBIE for you over on the MHKDesigns blog today, so hop over there to grab it! I thought you might want to see the panel in action, so take a peek...
This card uses the Bunny Love digital stamp set for the image and the sentiment. I recolored both before printing them. Although the panel was made to print at 3.75" x 5", I cut it down even more. I highlighted the recolored image with some glitter gel pens from Sakura and added some purple gingham ribbon to tie in the colors from the Egg-cellent Easter paper I used to prep the card base.
I think the bright yellow doily finished off this card beautifully, and I adore the finished product! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

And here is my card~
I colored this image with colored pencils, added a bit of faux stitching, then anchored it with baker's twine and a button. I added it to an easel card base prepped with patterned paper from the *NEW* Rosy Posy paper pack, a doily, and some washi tape.
The sentiment holds the easel up, and it is backed by the same yellow polka dotted paper from the *NEW* Rosy Posy paper pack.
I love the fun springtime colors on this card! I hope you like it, too! I can't wait to hear what you think in the comments below! :)
