52CCT: Double Embossing

Hi there!  Can you believe that January is almost over?!  I went back to school this past week and it is SO hard to get back into the swing of things after a break! ;)  Anyway, we've got a fun technique challenge for you over at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown!  We're asking you to use BOTH types of embossing!

It's called~

My card~

Details~

I've used stamps by Great Impressions, a dry embossing folder by Sizzix, a magazine (to do the Faux Cloisonne technique), gold embossing powder from Stampendous!, and all other supplies are from Stampin' Up!.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!  I hope you like it and I hope you've been inspired to join in the fun this week!  Sorry for the horrible photo...it is really hard to photograph the glossy magazine Faux Cloisonne!  Also, don't forget to leave some love with the other DT members as well!  HUGS and happy stamping!

These poinsettias look absolutely fantastic, Mynnettte! I had to look up faux cloisonne to learn more, I love heat embossing and I will definitely try this technique myself at some point!

Oh WOW Mynn! this is my favorite card that you've ever made (and I've LOVED lots of your cards). Totally fabulous in every way. Leaves me speechless (almost!). Hugs D

Mynn, this is absolutely amazing! All the heat embossing and fussy cutting gives a very lush, "rich" feel to your card. You picked the perfect embossing folder for the background behind the stamped poinsettias. The pearls are an excellent finishing touch.
