Floral Birthday Cards

Hi, friends!  Happy Saturday and HAPPY FEBRUARY!  It's time to be barraged by Valentine cards...but not from me today! ;)  I've got a couple of birthday cards to share with you--using some NEW to me stamps and one using a NEW to me technique! :)

Here's card one~

Detail~

For these fabulous challenges~

I've used lace tape by Inspired By Stamping, enamel dots by My Mind's Eye (new!), kraft card stock by The Paper Studio, a sentiment by Papertrey Ink, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!, inlcuding a NEW stamp image!  I used a NEW to me technique to stamp the flower image--it's called Generational Stamping with Line Images. :)  Check out the video--it's so fun and gives a great effect!  I only used a single color on each bloom, though...

I'd have to say my favorite style to craft in is Clean & Simple.  I love the clean feel of the design and the challenge of figuring out what would look good and still be CAS.  It's been something I've been trying to perfect for YEARS and I think I might be getting somewhere. ;)

And now, card #2~

Detail~

For these fabulous challenges~

I've used a doily from my stash, enamel dots by My Mind's Eye, a blending tool by Ranger, a sentiment by Papertrey Ink, kraft card stock by The Paper Studio, and all other supplies are from Stampin' Up!.

That's all for me, folks!  I hope you're inspired to create today!  I also hope you join in the fun with these fabulous challenges!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

Two fab CAS cards, Mynn! I too love clean and simple designs, but often feel I should do more, especially when blogging! Especially like the kraft card base for CAS designs! Thanks for the lovely comment you left me! Hugs, Lisa x

They are gorgeous cards Mynn. I checked out the tutorial and did not like the stamped effect the tutor showed. Came back to yours again and I think what you have made is much nicer and I would try it, but not following the video!
I am running a bit behind with my Crew creation but should be able to photograph, edit and upload tomorrow, sorry it is a bit late, my usual trouble has been a real problem since Christmas.
Hope you have a lovely weekend and are warm and cosy xx
