Hi, friends! Welcome to another term with the House of Card challenge blog! I am going to be taking a little step back in the next few months while I finish my degree, but the fabulous Judy will be taking care of everything until I am able to return to this challenge full time! I am SUPER excited to share the card I made for today's inspiration with you. Our challenge is to...
Make a card with a fruit/drink image and/or use these colors~
I went fruity, and I chose a different color scheme, but I wanted to make a card that screamed summer picnic to me. That meant using a watermelon image for me! Take a peek at my card...
I stamped the watermelon image then die cut it. I added it to some faux stitched panels and added a sentiment, a bit of glitter, and a few sequins. The stamps, dies, papers, and inks are all from The Stamps of Life and linked below!
I totally LOVE the way this turned out! The bright pink and green really POP off all that white space. It's been a while since I went CAS, so this was tons of fun. I hope you like my card, too! I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
I'm entering this card with these fabulous challenges~
Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! I hope you take a bit of time to come and play along with us at House of Cards. Don't forget to stop by the other DT members' blogs for even MORE amazing inspiration--they always blow me away! I'll be back later this month with more crafty posts! Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)
