Stampin' Fun With Friends: Sketch
(Have to login to participate, more info here)

(3 sets of 3 rhinestones, 2 patterns, one color of plain cardstock.)

He's just so darling!  And I love the look with different colors!  And then with clear glitter gel pen...I did that on both cards! :)  The rhinestones kind of mimic a sky and the patterns make this a super fun summery card!

Thanks for joining me here on my blog and for taking the time to check out my cards!  I appreciate you!!!  Happy stamping, friends! :)

Card two...

Ready for some more Hero Arts goodness?!  I just adore the stamps I got!!!  I've got another card to show you--utilizing more Hero Arts images and sentiments! :)

Such a fun card!  I just adore this little birdie, don't you?!  And the sentiment is so fun.  I think this card will be for my sister who adores birds and just started her junior year of high school.  I think she'd appreciate a little note, don't you?

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my card!  I appreciate you being here and  hope you come and join in these challenges!  Happy stamping! :)

An eventful few days...

So, it's been an interesting week.  My DH's car died and I broke my foot.  Bad things happen in 3s.  I'm hoping the 3rd bad thing was when my DH's glasses broke a few weeks ago.  Otherwise, I'm on my guard! ;)  The only thing that has made this week completely bearable was receiving my Hero Arts winnings!!!  They had contacted me to say that the Heyday Sentiments was not available so I was a bit bummed...but guess what?!  It was in the package!!!

See~

Of course, I automatically had to start using these sets!!!  I received the Heyday Sentiments set, the Life Is Fun set, the Delicate Blossoms set, along with some pearls.  *SIGH*  So happy!!!  I'll be sharing the cards I've made throughout today!!!

Here's the first one~

(I used 3 rhinestones, 2 words, and 1 color of paper.)

I have adored this gorgeous poppy image (and the other one in this set) for a l-o-n-g time!!!  I was SOOOOO excited to get it for my very own!!! :)  I started by stamping it on white cardstock and then water coloring it in.  I then dry embossed the panel, added some glitter, rhinestones, and a sentiment, and voila!  I love the way it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my card--I hope that you've been inspired to make something today that fits your creative needs and style!  Happy stamping!!! :)

It IS easy being green!!!

So, I never really use the color green for monochrome...I think I've done it one other time.  BUT, I was totally inspired by a few challenges and had to make the creation I saw in my head!!!

Here it is~

So, I had this green gradiated thing going on in my head and I though, it would be AWESOME if it was the sentiment...then I thought about using the sketch from Hero Arts.  And some punches and bling.  That's what I came up with! ;)

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!  I hope you like what you see and that you're inspired to create something fabulous today!  Happy stamping! :)

(stamp on patterned paper)

This one was fun to make!  I used some fun grid patterned paper that had a bit of an antique finish.  I decided to go semi-monochrome and go with autumn colors as I am hoping for cooler weather. ;)

This one was also fun to make!  I just opened up my scrap drawer and found some beautiful textured patterned paper that I forgot I had.  The rest was just layering and adding bling!

Thanks for taking a peek!!!  I hope you like my cards and that you come and join in these fabulous challenges! Happy stamping, friends! :)

Back in the groove...

So, we're back for reallsies!  I got all the laundry done and the house cleaned.  I just didn't fold the laundry.  Is that bad?  I'm one of those people who feels that as long as it's clean, you can fold it yourself or else grab it out of the basket.  I need to make things--namely cards and crafts! ;)  So, that's what I did!  I made FIVE cards today!  One is a DT card for later, but I'll show you 2 of the other four tonight!

Here's the first card~

(Find my scrumptious digi HERE)

This card was fun to make.  I started by creating a panel with a photoshop program using the delicious strawberry digi from Free Vintage Digital Stamps and then printed it out.  I then colored the strawberries, dry embossed the panel with a folder from Stampin' Up!  I then added some ribbon, a twine tied button, and a cute sentiment from the Fresh Fruits set by Fiskars.  Voila!  Card finished and it looks oh so delicious!  And now for another card!

 from the Kissing Booth Collection
in a set called "Friend Your The Best".)

This was such a fun card to make!  I just grabbed a bunch of bright cardstock and ribbon, dry embossed the blue panel with a Darice folder, put the papers and ribbon together, added a sentiment and some rhinestones, and here you go!  SO much fun!

Thanks for coming by and saying hi!  I've missed everyone and cannot wait to really get back into the groove!  I hope to be back tomorrow night with some more cards, but it's my first day back to work after summer break and we'll see. BOO.  I want more summer!  Happy stamping! ;)

PS: I had to post this darling picture of my fur baby!  I've missed her so!  Isn't she a doll?!

This card was inspired by Lucy Abram's AMAZING punched peony (I just KNEW I had to do this when I saw her card) and I was also inspired by Julie Ebersole's layout on her coloring with markers card.  LOVE the way this turned out!!!  I LOVED the colors in the SFTW photo and knew I would have to use those! ;)

Thanks for taking a peek--I'll be back in a few with yet another card!  Happy stamping!!! :)
