It's already 11:30pm?!

Wow.  It's kinda late!  Oh, well...I'll just take a nap after work again tomorrow... ;)  Seems to be my theme this week since last week was spring break and now I'm back to the "real world."

I've got a fun set of cards to show you tonight!  As it's almost Easter, but barely spring, I went with a spring theme that could be used as Easter cards should I choose to use them that way.  I made a box to go with them (I made 5) and stamped matching envelopes as well!

Here's a peek at the set~

A better look at the card~

Other parts of the set~

So, what do you think?  Maybe I'll give it to someone I love very, very much.  Maybe I'll use it as blog candy.  Maybe I'll use it as a prize for Technique Tuesday (starting here at On a Stampage on Tuesday, April 3).  We'll see. ;)

I'd like to enter this set into the following challenges~

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #61: Monochrome

Hello! We've got yet another fabulous challenge for you at Crafty Cardmakers! :) This time, we want to see monochromatic projects. It doesn't have to be black and white, just choose a color and roll with it! :)

Here are our fabulous sponsors (click on the picture to go to their sites)~

So, monochromatic. I chose BLUE. It's my DH's favorite color, and since Valentine's Day is upon us, this one's for him! :)

This is actually my weekly "Spread the L-O-V-E" project, as well!!! It's the last card my DH will receive for his 14 Days of Valentines. More details here if you'd like to join me in spreading the love this year!!! :)

Here is the card~

Details~

What do you think? I rather like it! :) Was really pleased with it! I'm also linking this card up with the Top Tip Tuesday Valentine challenge. I DO have another TIP for you in regards to this card! :) Using a slit punch at either end of where you'd like your twine to go helps you to tie it easier--and it creates an easier way for you to connect it to your project! :)

I'm also linking this card up with Nina's I {Heart} Ribbon Challenge--Ribbon & Hearts!!! :) Nina's in need of more players--won't you join us?! It's always fun to have a ribbon challenge thrown in now and then!!! :)

I hope you'll take the opportunity to come and play along with us--and check out the other DT creations! You WON'T be disappointed! Happy stamping!!! :)Link

POLKA!

Dots! ;D LOVE them. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!! So when I saw that Nina's I{Heart} Ribbon challenge was about polka dot ribbon, I was ON that! :)

I recently purchased some Glubers and haven't really used them, so I decided to make some polka dotted ribbon flowers--so fun!!!

I was also inspired by the Play Date Cafe color challenge this week...
Maroon...Copper...Tumeric

Here's the inspiration photo~
GORGEOUS, am I right?!

Well, I made three flowers for one card, but they were just too much, so I ended up making three cards.

Here they are~

Isn't that a lovely little trio of cards?! :) I'm thinking they would make a darling gift...

I {Heart} Ribbon...

Yes I do!!! I {Heart} Ribbon, how about you?!
*\O/* (<--- cheerleader...)

Yes. I love ribbon...so I when I found Nina's FABULOUS challenge (and spectacular blog), I knew it was fate!!!

I've also been dreaming of warmer weather...I really just want it to stay about 65*-70*F year round with very low humidity. Hey, a girl can dream, right?! :D

Anyway, this card tonight is a realization of my dream...on paper. ;D And, I used grosgrain ribbon as per this time's challenge. :)

I call it Gentle Breezes~

Details~

I wanted to keep it monochromatic, but I felt it was a little flat and so used a sponge to add some "sky". I used my favorite, over used and very much appreciated clear glitter gel pen for all the shimmery detail. I also used two ribbons--I usually do this with thinner grosgrain so that it can be a more prominent detail of the card or project. :) Hope you like it--I think it turned out rather well! :) Won't you come and join the I {Heart} Ribbon challenge?! It's so much fun!!!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek--I appreciate you! BTW-- if you like blog candy, check out my post HERE to find out how to maybe get some later on from me!!! :)
