Some CAS cards...

I've got some cards to share with you and them I'm off to create some more! ;)  I've been under the weather for almost a week now, but after some incredibly needed rest, I'm back to about 85% and I want to craft!!!  I'll show you my cards before I leave, though...

First card~

For these fabulous challenges~

This is a one layer card that has just a bit o bling. :)  I adore this set--the flowers are so bold and fun!  And the leaf image is so versatile!  I've actually used this same set (Apple Blossoms--retired from SU!) for my second card as well!!!

Card 2 (sorry for the poor photo quality...)~

For these fabulous challenges~

This uses the same set as the first card, as I've already mentioned.  Why did I say that again?  Sorry...typing in stream of conciousness again! ;)  This card uses the fun open circle stamp and the fun and funky apple.  I hate to admit it, but I think this is the first time I've used the apple! *GASP*

That's all for me...thanks for stopping by!  I'll have another post soon with two more cards and then I'll be off to create some more!  Happy stamping! :)

This was a really simple card to create!  I just had to find patterns that worked well together, ribbon to coordinate and a sentiment that I felt was fitting.  This was my final product!  Sorry that I had to change the placement of the sentiment...but I really wanted to flip the sketch and it was the only place that looked right...

Thanks for stopping by--I'm ever so glad you did!  I love having you here and hope that  you come back again soon!  And come join us at TSOT--and don't forget to take a peek at the other amazing DT creations!  The DT team is so amazing! :)  Happy stamping, friends!!!

Make My Monday: Vintage/Fashion

Welcome to a new month--is it September already?!  I missed you all so much!  Our fabulous challenge was on a bit of a break as we had many family obligations to attend to as a DT.  It is September, though--a new month--and we've got a new monthly theme and a fabulous challenge for you this week at Make My Monday!  This month our hostess is Val and she's chosen our monthly theme to be VINTAGE.  So, each of your projects must reflect vintage in some way--please make sure they do in order to be considered for Top 3/Guest DT spots!  This week, Val would like to see some VINTAGE/FASHION creations!!!

(I chose the top line of bright colors, flowers, ribbons)

I went for bright colors using a Crafts Arts stamp set and Pink Paislee patterned paper.  I hope you like it!

Digi Haven GDT: Anything Goes Month-Long Challenge!!!

Hi, all!  I was recently asked by Denise over at Digi Haven to be a Guest Designer to showcase their month-long "Anything Goes" challenge!  OF COURSE!!!  I have so enjoyed playing along with this fabulous challenge and have rarely missed one!  It's so fun to discover such fabulous free digis each time they have a challenge and the DT creations are all amazing!  So, the card that I have to show you today is a card using an amazing freebie from Birdie Brown called "Stitched Rose".

Here's my card~

Details~

I started by printing three of the stitched rose images and four of the leaf images.  I then water colored them, cut them out (the roses I cut in different sections for layering) and then added glitter to the edges of each image.  Because I cut the roses in different sections, I was able to layer it easily.  The water coloring made the paper curl a bit and I tried not to flatten it as I liked the natural look.  Then I added the flower to the white panel that I had stamped a sentiment on, added a bit of bling, put it all onto a gray card, and voila!  I think this would be a perfect card for a bridal shower, friendship, or just thinking of you card! :)

Thanks for taking a peek--I hope you like what you see!  I also hope that you'll come and join the fabulous month-long "Anything Goes" challenge over at Digi Haven--you won't regret it!  Happy DIGI stamping, friends! :)
