Inspired By Stamping July 2015 Release: Summer Warble

Hi, friends!  I'm super excited to share a card with you today using some of the *NEWEST* stamps for the July 2015 Inspired By Stamping release!!!  Today, we are sharing creations using our *NEW* Summer Warbler stamp set.  Take a peek at my card...

I stamped the bird image from the Summer Warbler stamp set onto watercolor paper then water colored it messily.  I added some Wink of Stella over the birdie to make him shine!

The sentiment is also from the *NEW* Summer Warbler stamp set.  I added some washi tape, a button that was threaded with baker's twine, and a few enamel dots to add a bit more color around it.

I decided to keep this relatively simple to keep the main focus on the stamping.  I just LOVE the way that this ended up!!!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'm entering this card with these fabulous challenges~

That's all for me today, friends!  I'll be back tomorrow with another release creation using *NEW* stamps from Inspired By Stamping!  Also, I hope that you come and join in our monthly challenge for YOUR chance to win some stamps from Inspired By Stamping!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

Inspired By Stamping July 2015 Release: Grapes

Hi, friends!  I'm super excited to share a card with you today using some of the *NEWEST* stamps for the July 2015 Inspired By Stamping release!!!  Today, we are sharing creations using our *NEW* Sun-Ripened Grapes stamp set.  Take a peek at my card...

I decided to create an easel card for today.  I stamped the image from the Sun-Ripened Grapes stamp set onto kraft cardstock, then colored it in with a blender pen and white craft ink.  I then used colored pencils to add the color.

The large flower that I added to the top panel was something I made myself.  I have a video on how to create it HERE ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

The sentiment was stamped onto a chalkboard label and then heat embossed into gold.  It's actually 2 different sentiments from the Sun-Ripened Grapes stamp set.  I LOVE using acrylic stamps--it makes things like that easy peasy!!!

I am SO happy with this easel card!  Purple is my absolute favorite color, so this card was a joy to create!  I am seriously loving the fabulous font used in the sentiments in the Sun-Ripened Grapes set, too!  Same as in the Poppies set--IT IS AWESOME!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your opinion in the comments below!

Inspired By Stamping July 2015 Release: Poppies

Hi, friends!  I'm super excited to share a card with you today using some of the *NEWEST* stamps for the July 2015 Inspired By Stamping release!!!  Today, we are sharing creations using our *NEW* Flower of the Month: Poppies stamp set.  Take a peek at my card...

To create my bouquet, I stamped the bouquet image from the Poppies stamp set onto white card and also onto the patterned paper.  I colored the flowers then cut them out.  I colored the stalks on the patterned paper.  I added some twine to tie it together--just a few small hole punches and some threading help it look more "real".

I did a bit of flower shaping to puff up the flowers before adding them to the bouquet.  I also added Wink of Stella for added shine.  I just LOVE these gorgeous blooms from the Poppies set!!!

The sentiment was stamped directly onto the patterned paper.  It is also from the *NEW* Poppies stamp set.  Some rhinestones add a bit more shine.  Isn't this font super darling?!

A doily corner and more rhinestones gussied up the top corner.  I like the way it seems to balance the rest of the card.  :)

I am just LOVING the way this card turned out!  I hope you like it, too!  I also think that this set is a MUST HAVE, don't you???  Please leave me your thoughts in the comments below!

Great Impressions: Scandinavian Inspired Tulips

Hi, friends!  I'm here with another fun card using darling stamps from the Great Impressions online store to brighten your Monday and start your week off right!  Today, I'm sharing a card that was inspired by my Scandinavian heritage...

Here's my inspiration~

I LOVE the way these colors look on the dark background, and I adore the use of a repeated dot pattern.  Those were my inspirations when creating this card.  Take a peek...

The image, H251 Tall Tulips, was the perfect choice for this technique.  I heat embossed it in white onto black cardstock.  I then did a white ink wash onto the middles of the image.  I took a colored pencil and colored over the white, then around the image.  The last setp was to add the dots with a silver Sharpie marker.

The sentiment, one of the sayings from E791 Sweet Sentiments, was heat embossed in white onto vellum.  I added it to the card using dimensional foam.  The faceted gems cover those up. ;)

To tie everything together, I added more dots as a border around the panel.  I also decided to add some purple glitter paper to my card base for added texture and shine.

I LOVE the way this turned out!  I adore the effect that this technique creates--don't you?  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

Thank you for stopping by, friends!  That's all for me today, but I'll be back next soon with another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions store.  I hope you join in our current challenge, and, if you use Great Impressions stamps, link them up in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
