Warmest Wishes

Hello, all!  I'm back with another card to share with you!  This one again uses the sketch from Cardabilities and the colors from Color Throwdown and also for the Card Mania "Make It Sparkle" challenge.  Take a peek!

I started this card by creating the card base with some patterned paper from Basic Grey and cardstock from Stampin' Up!.  I did a little bit of faux stitching using a gel pen from Sakura.  I also distressed the patterned paper for a more vintage feel.  I then added a Wilton doily to the base.

I then stamped the flower image from the Inspired By Stamping Poinsettias stamp set using white embossing powder from Sweet Stamps onto red Stampin' Up! cardstock. I fussy cut the flower out and added black Want 2 Scrap rhinestones to the middle.  I then stamped the leaves from the Inspired By Stamping Poinsettias stamp set and heat embossed them with black glittery embossing powder from my stash.  These were also fussy cut out and they were added to the doily.

I then stamped one of the sentiments from the Inspired By Stamping Poinsettias stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white Georgia Pacific cardstock and created a small banner with the piece.  This was added on top of the flower.

The finished product is a shabby and elegant holiday card.  It could also be used for a December birthday or just because!  What do you think?  I'd love for you to leave me a comment and let me know!

That's all for me today!  I hope you like what you see and that you come and join in with the challenges I'm entering.  Be back tomorrow with more holiday craftiness!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
