Great Impressions: Trick or TREE-t

Welcome back, friends!  It's time for another monthly challenge at Great Impressions, and this month, our theme is "Trick or TREE-t"!  We are looking for either a FAMILY FRIENDLY Halloween card, or else anything with a tree image!  I chose some of my favorite Halloween stamps from the Great Impressions store to use as my focus today.  Take a peek...

This fun image is H202 Spider Tree.  I stamped and embossed it onto some fun houndstooth paper, then added the layered sentiment, A135 Boo!, and some twine and a ribbon.

I am totally loving how easy this card was, but how cool the end look is!  I decided that I was going to just use patterned papers to help accent elements--and I think it works!  I hope you agree!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts. :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

The stamping of the spooky tree on the patterned paper worked wonderfully, Mynn - it looks great - love that houndstooth bg!!! The polka dots was a perfect choice to mat your tree on!!!! The sentiment on the orange and the button add just the right amount of extra colour!!!! A very sweet Halloween card!!!!
Have a lovely week!!!

I'm not so much into Halloween but I like your card...it's not scary or evil looking. I have to make Fall/Halloween projects for the DT I'm on...to bad this challenge started on Sunday because I posted my first card on Friday (2 days too early)...but I will be making other ones during the month so maybe I will get a chance to enter :) Hugs...Janie
