One Layer Rose Flourish

Hello, all!  I'm trying to get in as much crafty time as I can before I go back to school next week, so my blog is going to be really full today!  I've made a one layer card using stamps from Red Rubber Designs for a few challenges, and it's been so long since I made one, that it took me SO LONG.  BUT, I think it turned out lovely.  Take a peek...

I colored the rose flourish image from the Damask Elements stamp set with Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeade markers, then stamped it twice onto my square card base.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Savvy Sayings stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink between the roses.

I then used a fun lace trim patterned embossing folder to emboss along the bottom of the card to create an anchor and add texture.  I added some pink gingham ribbon to hide the ugly top embossed line, then rounded the bottom corners of the card.

To keep everything more simple, I decided against adding bling.  I think that this card turned out super pretty, and it will mail well!  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'd like to enter this card into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I appreciate all your kind comments and support.  That's all I have today, but I hope you take some time to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges!  Until tomorrow, HUGS and happy stamping! :)
