Super Exciting News!!!

Yes, you read that title correctly--I have super exciting news!!!  I am on the 2014 Inspired By Stamping Design Team!!!  I am incredibly excited for this fabulous opportunity and I hope to inspire you with the creations I make using the fabulous products from this store!

To celebrate, I'd like to share with you one of the three projects I made as submissions for the DT Call.  It was based on the inspiration photo that Joanna had us use.  The photo was of some lovely pink and white roses. :)

Since Valentine's Day is coming up and the photo seemed to lend itself that way, I first made a card with a Valentine theme using the Happy Sentiments stamp set, Flowers in shabby pink, Mixed Small Flowers, and Fabric Tape in white.

I started by stamping the sentiment onto some cream cardstock.  I went with a light pink for the Happy part and a darker pink for the holiday part of the sentiment.  I LOVE the look of layered sentiments, and the Happy Sentiments stamp set is perfect for this technique!

I blinged up my card with some gorgeous Flowers in shabby pink, Mixed Small Flowers, and Fabric Tape in white.  

Some green die cut leaves give the Flowers a nice background to pop off of and some glittered paper hearts draw your eye to the beautiful lacy Fabric Tape.  I put it all on top of some beautiful pearlized paper and added some half pearls as accents.  Voila!

SMASH!

I have fallen in love...with a product line...from K&Company...called SMASH. And it rocks! And it's so awesome! And I want ALL OF IT! So...I wanted to share my new obsession with you! The product line isn't being shipped until May 25th, but you can check it ALL out here.



This is something I would've totally gone crazy for in HS (not much has changed, apparently). So why is this stuff so awesome? Because you can literally add TONS into this notebook (what color to choose?!) and it stays and is smashed (hence the name) into the same size. I LOVE IT!


Did you check out the awesome pen?! One side is a pen, the other side is adhesive to add little notes to the book!!!!!!!!!


And this TAPE?! How awesomely awesome it is! Oh, the possibilities!!!!!


And what about these bands?! I have a bazillion ideas on how to use them already! Not just to close the notebook...I'll post when I have the idea made. :)

Anyway, what is your favorite item?! I cannot choose...I want is ALL!!!!!!!!!!
