Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelets

I got to see a friend today that I haven't seen in almost a year.  It was so nice to get together with a crafty buddy and create today!!!  We wanted to make some bracelets following a picture tutorial that I found HERE so we went off to the store to buy the supplies.  I was really apprehensive that mine would be awful.  But they weren't!!!  All four of them turned out gorgeously!

Here they are~

And individually~

For these fabulous challenges~

Aren't they pretty?!  If you are looking for an amazing and relatively inexpensive gift to give to those you love this holiday seasons, then this project is for YOU!  Seriously--it was so fun!  I'm going to make more for people that I know so that I can spread the love around! :)

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at today's creation!  I hope you were inspired to create and to join in these fabulous challenges!  Happy crafting, friends! :)

Happy Birthday, sister dear!

It's my sister's birthday. So I made her a card! ;)

Here it is~

It's totally her. Bright and vibrant colors, pearls, and an eclectic pattern. Totally her. Although, the colors IRL are not as bright as in these photos...not sure what happened there... ;)

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

I've also made her a set of bracelets. I haven't posted any beaded creations for a while, so I thought I'd share them with you!

Here they are~

Seeing Spots!

Nope. I'm not sick. I'm only seeing spots because this week's challenge over at Charisma Cardz is to create something with spots! Any you KNOW I'm all over that--love me some polka dots! :)

You should pop on over--there are some absolutely fabulous DT creations! :) I made two cards for this challenge--one with lots of spots and one with subtle spots.

The first will be given out as a holiday greeting card, the second was made for a baptism that will take place later tonight at our church. :)

Butterflies

Here's one of my latest jewelry endeavors--a rainbow butterfly bracelet! I added one of the butterfly beads as a charm to add a little more whimsy. I love making these for other people--they are way simple and quick to make. I think I enjoy making bracelets more than any other type of jewelry because they are so quick and easy, so you get your end result when you want is (aka NOW). :) I hope you take the time to make something pretty today! Happy beading!

Aquamarine

So, I mentioned earlier that I won a prize from EK Success for National Craft Month. And that it is AWESOME! By the way, if you haven't taken the chance to go to the EK Success website and sign up for a contest or something, you should! Anyway, this is what I made with the aquamarine Swarovski crystal beads! I made it to wear on Easter. Of course I then had to go and purchase something to match (found at Khol's for $8--cute short sleeved turtle neck sweater). Anyway, I hope this inspires you to create today! Happy crafting!!!

Sparkles

I love this bracelet! I didn't make it for any specific reason, but I just wanted to throw something together quickly to wear with a dressy black and white top I own. So, this is the finished product! The little charm was an after thought--a reminder that even though we may go through dark times in our life, there are also a lot of light and happy times as well! I HOPE it inspires you to make something for yourself or someone you love! Happy crafting!

All That Glitters is Gold

I used to dislike gold jewelry. But then I discovered how beautiful it is with brown and white and cream. So, here are some samples of jewelry with just a hint of gold and a lot of gold! I hope it inspires you to create something different today! Happy crafting!

A Gift For You

I've been making A LOT of jewelry lately...mostly for other people. So I decided to share pictures if them! I try to make it in each persons style. Enjoy the pictures! Hope you create something today!

Become Aware

As I have previously mentioned in earlier blogs, I work with children who have special needs. Since April is Autism Awareness month, I made some sparkling things to wear.for support. This year we have Rainbow Day, so I made some rainbow bracelets. I also made a blue keychain for my purse for year round. What cause do you support? I hope you take some time today to show your support for whatever cause is important to you!

Making these pieces was very rewarding and they make my soul happy. :) I hope you take the time today to create something fabulous. Happy creating!!!

Green: Exuding LIFE!

One color that just exudes the spring season is GREEN! So, here is my green tribute to spring. :) My DH says that the natural stone looks like gray, but you have to believe me that it really is GREEN!

I am so grateful for the talents that God has blessed me with--it helps me to have a creative outlet for my energy and helps me feel that I do make a difference in some little way. I hope you take the chance today to develop one of YOUR many talents--and if you want to learn a new one, it's possible! Happy crafting!
