Wow...

PERSONAL INFO SHARE TIME: Okay, so anyone who knows me knows that I am seriously organized about my blogging.  I make my DT cards and blog about them all in a few days.  I just got done today doing this and I feel SO RELIEVED!  Whew! ;)

Also, you still have 2 days to play along with Technique Tuesday and make a Velveteen Stamping creation!  I'd really LOVE to see a lot more players--I really want to give out prizes!!!

Now, back to the main reason for this post--I have 2 cards to share with you!!!  And these two cards are in totally different styles...we'll see if you like them!

Here's the first card~

For these fabulous challenges~

I used a digital image found at The Graphic's Fairy and a K&Co. sticker for the sentiment.  I plan to send this to a friend who's gone through a rough year and needs a reminder to celebrate--she's awesome! :)

Here's the second card~

For these fabulous challenges~

This one is way more CAS and to my true liking.  Lots of dry embossing and minimum bling!  Doesn't this just look like summer?!  I was inspired by the summery scene and colors in the photo--such a happy picture! :)

Thanks for stopping by!  I really appreciate all of your comments--they make my day!  Now I'm off to see what other people have created!  Happy stamping!!! :)

Whew!

I almost missed a challenge!  I thought I had one more day--but I don't!  I have one more hour!  And so, I have one more card to show you today!

Here it is~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

I haven't used this large stamp for quite a while, and so I thought it went perfectly for the "In the Garden" challenge!  It reminds me of Delft china, so the blues from Dynamic Duos was the perfect color scheme.  I think it turned out pretty smashing!  I hope you think so, too!

Thanks for stopping by--I love having you here!  I appreciate all the lovely comments that you leave me--they make my day!  Can't wait to see what YOU create!  Happy stamping! :)

FINALLY!

I have been trying to enter a challenge over at A Day For Daisies FOR A LONG TIME.  Seriously.  For about 3 months--ever since I discovered it!  So imagine my delight when my printer FINALLY decided to print my digi images off correctly!  HOORAY!!!

Here's the card I've made~

Details~

I used patterned paper that I have had for over a year--it's about time that it got some show time!  It's fabulous!  I've also used rhinestones and an enamel rose that was purchased at the recent famous craft store garage sale (details about some of my finds here) and some ribbon and gold glimmer mist that I've had for forever!  OH, and the amazing free digi image from A Day For Daisies!!!

I'd like to enter this into these challenges~

A Day For Daisies: Go Vintage & Add Polka Dots (you can't tell, but the skirt and leg warmers are polka dotted as well as some of my papers)

Top Tip Tuesday: Dig Out The Old! (TIP: Rotate/reorganize your stored embellishments every so often so that you can remember what you own--that way you don't over buy/re-buy things!)

Pile It On: Patterns: Mix the Scales (I've used teeny tiny polka dots and a patterned paper that has all sorts of sizes of patterns!)

On a completely unrelated note, my cold is progressing and continuing to make my life oh so fabulous.  Luckily I get out for summer break tomorrow!  HUZZAH!!!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you like my newest endeavor into digital stamp artwork!  AND, I hope you join in the fun at these fabulous challenges!  Happy stamping, friends!

I've used a digital balloon image from Bird House Stamps and water colored it in.  After coloring it, I dry embossed it and added some gold glimmer mist.  Patterned paper, butterflies, and bling, three of my favorites, finished off this card. :)

I do hope you'll come over and play along with us!  I have the hard choice of awarding winners, but I just KNOW all of you will make fabulous creations, so please make my job HARD!  And also, please pop over and see what my fellow Design Team Members have created--they have amazing talent!  Happy stamping!!! :)

Make My Monday: Floral/Flower + Music

Hi, friends!  Are you ready for another FABULOUS challenge over at Make My Monday?!  Great!  Because we have a fun one for you!!!  In keeping with the monthly FLORAL theme, we're asking you to create something with any type of flower PLUS music!

Here's what I came up with~
Details~

I made my musical flower by printing out a sheet music image from The Graphic's Fairy, punching 2 flowers out with my a flower punch, water coloring the flowers with different colors, and finally misting them with gold glimmer mist.  A few branches from another punch created a nice focal point.  I created the 3D effect by popping one flower up on top of the other after I curled the petals up a bit.  What do you think?!

Thanks for taking a peek at my little creation.  Since I used an image from The Graphic's Fairy, I'm linking this to Brag Monday. :)

So, I can't wait to see what YOU create this week!  And don't forget to see what my fabulous design teammates have created as well!  Happy stamping!!! :)

52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown: Color Challenge #5

Welcome back to another week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown!  This week, I have a NONTRADITIONAL color scheme for you.  Who'd have thunk it of little ol' me, huh?  If you don't already know, let me just say that I ADORE nontraditional colored holiday cards!

So here's you color challenge for this week~

Purple and green is a super duper favorite color scheme of mine, and silver just gores really well with it!!!

Here's my first card, a bit crazy, and details~

I don't know what I think of this one.  Sometimes I like it, sometimes I think it threw up Christmas.  I'll send it to a friend who really loves me and has a bit of an eclectic style. ;)

Card 2 and details~

This one is a bit more to my liking.  And it was so simple!  Patterned paper, specialty embossed paper, ribbon, and a quick stamped sentiment and voila!

So there you have it, friends!  I can't wait to see what everyone else creates with these colors!  And for more fabulous inspiration cards, check out Jacqueline's blog!  Merry stamping!!! :)
