52CCT: May Recipe Challenge

Well, it's finally the weekend again, friends!  That means it's time to grab your crafting supplies and come join in another fun challenge at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown!  This week, we've got a fun recipe for you to follow!

I've used a sentiment by Kaiser Kraft, other stamps by Waltzingmouse, stickles by Ranger, an embossing folder by Sizzix (debossing is easy with these--just run them through and adhere your panel the "wrong" way), rhinestones by Studio 120, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Spectrum Noir markers (to color the peppermint sticks), and all paper and vellum is by Stampin' Up!.

I LOVE scarlet macaws--they are seriously my favorite bird!  So you can imagine how excited I was to see this fabulous set in the newest release this month!  I doodled a frame around this one to add a bit of interest. :)  I hope you hop over to the Doodle Pantry shop to grab this set and more digi goodness!

Inspired By Stamping: Release Week! + Fancy Labels 3 Stamps & Dies!

Hi again, everyone!  It's the second day of release week on the Inspired By Stamping blog and to celebrate, I've made another tag to show off one of the new sets that will be available to purchase in the store on Friday!  SO exciting!

Here's today's tag~

Each day of the week, we will be giving away the stamp set of the day. Winners will be announced on Monday the following week on the Inspired By Stamping blog.  Today's set is called Fancy Labels 3 and has perfect sentiments--plus there are coordinating dies!  I LOVE the way the die cuts make crafting SO much simpler!  I also used the Background Basics Lines set to create a plaid tag base. :)  SO fun!

Great Impressions: Parrot Tulips

Hi, friends!  It's my day to post over on the Great Impressions blog and today I've got a fun and simple card using a beautiful new image from the Great Impressions store!  Come and take a peek!

I just LOVE this beautiful new image--tulips are my absolute favorite flowers and I think the sheer variety of this species is amazing!  I wanted more interest to the image, so I used some specialty paper with texture and shine and I LOVE this!

DDD: Butterfly + Wednesday Wisdom

Welcome, welcome to Wednesday, friends!  It's time for another card using sweet and fabulous products from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This one was made specifically CAS to show off the gorgeous patterned paper...take a look!

Products used: Doodle Garden set (butterfly), Mother's Garden papers (striped paper), Garden Gifts set (scripture).

This verse is very personal to me, and I am sure it has different meanings to each of us at different times in our lives.  As someone who has struggled with depression and infertility for the past 10 years, I do know that waiting patiently can and will lead to us finding peace if we all the Lord to work on our hearts.  How else would I now be able to live a full life and find joy in motherhood without having my own children?  It is possible, friends, and He is there with outstretched hand waiting for us to take it and be lifted up.  How can you apply this to your life today?

Inspired By Stamping: Release Week! + Basket of Flowers

Hi again, everyone!  It's the third day of release week on the Inspired By Stamping blog and to celebrate, I've made a card to show off one of the new sets that will be available to purchase in the store on Friday!  SO exciting!  Come and take a look at the card I made!

I started by grabbing some patterned paper from the Vintage Floral Paper Pad.  The soft colors are so beautiful and spring time fresh--perfect to compliment this NEW Basket of Flowers set!  I even paper pieced the blooms with this same paper!

I also stamped the sentiment from the NEW Basket of Flowers set on the same patterned paper from the Vintage Floral Paper Pad. :)

Some punched out glitter paper and green banners, some other punched pieces, a bit of faux stitching, and some pink rhinestones finished this card up.  I LOVE the way it turned out!
