DDD: Glossy Nails + Wednesday Wisdom

Hello again, friends!  It's hump day!!!  Hope your week is going well and I hope that you have an amazing finish to it as well!  I'm here with another card using digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs.  I am just IN LOVE with her new girly sets--and this card was definitely made with a special friend in mind!

Here's the card~

Details~

Products used: It's a Girl Thing (sentiment), What Girls Like Color Set (images), Summer Breeze (floral paper)

I like to make cards that are especially for specific people.  I feel that God has given us talents and that we should use these talents to share His love with His children--who just happen to be our brothers and sisters! :)  This card reminds me of a special friend and it has already been sent to her.  She has helped me through many many trials and been a wonderful sounding board.  Proverbs 18:24 teaches us:

"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."

Friends truly are the family we create for ourselves.  I feel so blessed that the Lord has brought the friends into my life that He has--they are truly family to me!

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you take some time today to show someone you love how much you love them!  And don't ever forget how loved YOU are!  HUGS to you all!

House of Cards: Challenge Reminder

Hi, friends!  I hope your weekend went well!  I'm here today to remind you that we are now halfway through our current challenge over at House of Cards!  I've got some midway inspiration for you...

Here's my card~

Details~

I've used a sentiment from Inspired By Stamping, patterned paper by My Mind's Eye, rhinestones by Kaiser Kraft, and all other supplies are from Stampin' Up!.

Thanks so much for stopping by to glance at my creation ! I hope you join our fun challenge at House of Cards this time around!  Don't forget to pop over to the original challenge post to see the rest of the amazing inspiration from the other DT gals, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

Inspired By Stamping: Pinwheels

Helllloooooo!  It's time for another post from me for the Inspired By Stamping blog!  This time, I've got a fun centerpiece idea for you!  This would work really well with for a birthday party or for any type of summer occasion!  Take a peek!

The first thing I did was stamp a bunch of the different sized pinwheels from the Swirling Pinwheels set in primary colors and then cut them out.  I layered them together and added a brad in the middle.

Each pinwheel was then put onto a fun paper straw.  They were all placed into a pail of beans--the weight keeps the centerpiece from blowing away but is easy to put things into and take them out afterwards for safe storage!

A tag with the sentiment from the Swirling Pinwheels set was added to the largest pinwheel in the trio.  Some ribbon and a bow was then added around the bucket to tie colors, etc., together.

That's all for me today!  I hope you like my project and that you hop over to the Inspired By Stamping store to grab these goodies today!  Also, don't forget to take a peek on the Inspired By Stamping blog for more inspiration using these products!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

This peacock was one that completely took my breath away when I first saw it!  I think her looks so regal sitting on top of some embossed vellum with his sparkle and shine from the glitter, sequin flowers, and liquid pearl accents, don't you?  Definitely a show stopper!

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek!  I hope you join in the fun of the Sentimental Sundays challenge and if you use a Doodle Pantry product, I hope you link your creation up at our monthly challenge, too!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you all! :)

Here it is~

Details~

Old supplies include the Kaiser Kraft sentiment, the Imaginesce gingerbread images, the red dots, and the paper. My new supply was the fun polka dotted washi tape!  Nothing is technically borrowed except the concept of the embellies in three and the blue is part of the glitter gel pens by Sakura that I used to color the gingerbread people with.

That's all for me right now!  I hope you like my card and that it inspires you to join in our fun challenge this week!  I also encourage you to hop over to the blog to see the other DT inspiration and leave them some love, too!  FABULOUS work!  HUGS and merry stamping to you all! :)

DDD: Graduation Card + Wednesday Wisdom?

Hi, all!  I'm back with another fun card using digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs!  This one was made for my little sister who graduated from high school this past weekend.  I cannot believe she's old enough to do that! ;)

Here's the card~

Details~

Products used: Tibits of Turquoise (paper), It's a Girl Thing (sentiment)

This card and time of year is always a reminder to me that life is always ending.  I know that may sound depressing, but I find it to be something that keeps me looking ahead and trying to do my best.  I think that it is natural to become a better person when we realize things are coming to an end.  We are kinder and more thoughtful for the most part at endings.

No scripture to go along with these musings this week, just a thought I've been having!  I'm going to try to make all my ends kinder and happier, I think!  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!  I hope you hop over to the Daydream Design's store and grab these fabulous elements!  HUGS and happy stamping, all!
