Inspired By Stamping: Woodland Scene

Hi, friends!  It's time for me to share another card made using fabulous stamps from the Inspired By Stamping online store!  This time I created a sweet woodland scene.  Take a peek...

I started by stamping the trees from the Winter Friends set.  I watercolored them in, then added some "grass" with glitter paper.  I stamped the darling rabbit from the Winter Friends set onto white cardstock with gray ink and the deer from the same set onto brown paper with darker brown ink.  I added some Glaze and glitter gel pen, then fussy cut them out and added them to the card.  A few flower shaped sequins with liquid pearl centers and some glittery clouds finish off the scene.

The sentiment was stamped directly onto the focal panel and comes from the Friends stamp set.  A few hearts from the Winter Friends set and a couple of glittery clouds highlight it.  Lastly, a tiny bird from the Winter Friends set was stamped and watercolored to finish the top of this panel.

I then matted the focal panel with black cardstock and added it to a card base prepped with some fun patterned paper.  I really like the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you like my offering for today, and I hope that you go grab these beautiful products from the Inspired By Stamping store!  Also, take a little time to create something today--you know you want to!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping! :)

The Stamps of Life: Flamingo Birthday Party

Hi, friends!  I've got a super fun card to share with you today.  It uses the *NEW* flamingo products from The Stamps of Life, and it's perfect for the beginning of summer!  Take a peek...

The image was made using the flamingos2stamp set and the Flamingo Die Set.  I kept the colors simple and just added some glitter, felt daisies, and seam binding ribbon to accent this fun feathered friend!

The sentiment is from the sayings4flamingos set.  I think it's PERFECT for a pink birthday card, don't you? A few rhinestones and patterned paper dress up this part of the card.

I am SUPER pleased with the way this card turned out!  I hope you like it, too!  I'd love to hear your opinion, so please do leave me a comment below!

This sweet card uses the *NEW* image G534 Dog & Bird image.  I colored it in with colored pencils.  This duo is just super sweet!  The sentiment is E866 Under the Weather.

Some faux stitching and a few yellow rhinestones to mimic sunshine finished off this focal panel.  It was layered on top of some fabulous polka dot paper.  I totally adore the way this turned out, and I hope you agree!  Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

MHKDesigns: May/June Challenge

Hello, everyone!  I am back today with another card for our new challenge over at MHKDesigns!  We have a really pretty photo/color inspiration for you this month, and I can't wait to see what you create with it!  Take a look at the inspiration...

I am TOTALLY loving this color scheme and the inspiration photo!  These colors could go so many different ways--masculine, holiday, floral.  Limitless possibilities!  I chose to be inspired by both the colors and the photo.  Take a peek at what I came up with...

I chose to use the Perfect Poppies digital stamp set from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop for this card.  I colored it with Spectrum Noir markers, added liquid pearls to the centers, and put some glitter on the leaves for more texture and shine.  I then fussy cut the image out to put on my card base.

The card base was prepped with some paper from the Sunflower Sampler pack, and the sentiment, also from the Perfect Poppies set, was printed onto vellum before adding it to the card.  A few pearls accent the sentiment.  I kept the layering simple to make the image the highlight of the card.

I decided to add some faux stitching to add a bit more interest to the card.  I used Glaze gel pen for a subtle shine.  You can't see it in the photo, but it helps ties in the pearls and liquid pearl flower centers.  I love this card--I hope you do, too ! Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you hop over to join in our monthly challenge at MHKDesigns!  There are prizes for each one, and you can use any products you'd like! :) Don't forget to leave some love with the other gals on this wonderful DT, too!

Great Impressions: Roses of Friendship

Hi, all!  It's Monday, so I'm back to share a card made using some of my favorite stamps from Great Impressions!  Take a peek...

I started by stamping G454 Rose Trio onto kraft cardstock and colored it in with colored pencils.  I added some liquid pearls for a bit more shine and to tie in the polka dot paper used on the card base.

The sentiment I used is E841 To Be Oneself.  I truly believe this is the definition of friendship!  I stamped it onto white cardstock, and then accented it with a few fun embellishments.

I really like the way this turned out.  I think the red, white, and green are a bit Christmas-y sometimes, but I feel that they work well here.  What do you think?  Please leave me a comment below to let me know!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Great Impressions: Unique & Extraordinary

Hi, all!  It's Monday, so I'm back to share a card made using *NEW* stamps from Great Impressions!  I went CAS, yet shabby, and I hope it works.  Take a peek...

This card uses the *NEW* E893 Unique sentiment.  I stamped it, then added some color and sparkle with gel pens.  Some paper flowers accent the sentiment, which was added to a patterned card base.  A line of pearls adds more finish and an anchor for the sentiment.

That's it!  Totally easy peasy!  I hope you like it--I think it turned out to be pretty.  Please feel free to leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts! :)
