Trick or Treat!

Hi, friends!  It's been a long time since I stopped to create just because, but I had a fun idea and needed to roll with it!  It ended up as a funky Halloween tag--take a peek!

I started by recoloring the image from the Pumpkin Jack digital stamp set from MHKDesigns.  I then printed it onto white cardstock, colored it in with Spectrum Noir markers, and fussy cut it out.  I added some glitter, leaves punched from the Trick or Treat digital paper pack, and a sweet tiny flower handmade and sent to me by my friend Cohenna!

I added some torn black cardstock, a patterned paper banner made from paper from the Twinkle Twinkle Little Dots digital paper pack, another strip of paper from the Trick or Treat digital paper pack, and a sentiment from the Halloween Party digital stamp set.  I chose to keep the edges clean so that the different colors would POP!

Some white seam binding ribbon, black and white baker's twine, and a purple button finish off this fun tag.  I really adore the way it turned out, and I hope you like it, too!  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Thanks for stopping by today, friends!  That's all I have for now, but I'll be back soon with more paper crafted projects to share. :)  I hope you all have a Happy Halloween on Monday, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping! :)

House of Cards: Gatefold Card and/or Color Inspiration

Hello, everyone!  I'm back to share a fun twist on a gatefold card with you today!  I created this card for the current House of Cards challenge which is to...

Create a gatefold card and/or use this color inspiration~

I went gatefold, but as I stated above, it's with a twist!  This card is an interlocking gatefold card.  Take a peek...

So, what makes this interlocking?  Well, the sentiment panel and its frame come apart as you open the card!  SO easy, but a HUGE WOW factor!

I used stamps from Stampin' Up! for my sentiment panel, along with Stampin' Up! dies and retired papers.  I adore these fun colors--they are perfect for a happy birthday card!

I used the same floral images and ink colors to decorate my inside panel, as well as incorporating more of the same patterned paper.  I love when the inside of the card matches the outside, don't you?!  SO fun!

I added a sweet flower, some pearls, rhinestones, and a crocheted butterfly to the front, as well as some fun hot pink gingham ribbon.  I am super happy with how this turned out, and I hope you like it, too!  I'd love for you to let me know your thoughts in the comments below!  Click HERE to hop over to YouTube for my video tutorial on how to create this fun technique, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you take a bit of time to come and play along with us at House of Cards.  Don't forget to stop by the other DT members' blogs for even MORE amazing inspiration--they always blow me away!  I'll be back later this month with more crafty posts!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Inspired By Stamping: Beautiful Box

Hello, all!  Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I'm back to share another project using some amazing products from the Inspired By Stamping store!  This week's theme is to create 3D friendship gifts, and I decided to make an altered photo box that uses LOTS of goodies!  Take a peek...

I used the *NEW* Beautiful You set (designed by yours truly!) for the sentiments for this project.  The papers are from the Spring Lilacs paper pack.  I also used the Spring Lilacs stamp set, the Fancy Labels 2 dies, and the Fancy Labels 3 dies to cut and mat the two sentiments.

I used ribbons from the Purple Ribbon Collection and the Vintage Floral Ribbon Collection to tie a double bow on top of the box.  I added a paper flower to the center as a finishing touch.

I used images from the Spring Lilacs stamp set for the sides of the box.  I colored them in with Old Olive and Concord Crush ink.  The bird was stamped in Smoky Slate.  The ribbon covers the images up a bit, but the sides just needed a little something more to them. :)

I know the exact friend who will be receiving this gift, and I hope she likes it!  What do you think of the final product?  I would LOVE to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Once again, thank you so much for stopping by today!  That's all I have for now, but I will be back soon with more creations using gorgeous products from the Inspired By Stamping online store!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

The Stamps of Life: Flamingo Birthday Party

Hi, friends!  I've got a super fun card to share with you today.  It uses the *NEW* flamingo products from The Stamps of Life, and it's perfect for the beginning of summer!  Take a peek...

The image was made using the flamingos2stamp set and the Flamingo Die Set.  I kept the colors simple and just added some glitter, felt daisies, and seam binding ribbon to accent this fun feathered friend!

The sentiment is from the sayings4flamingos set.  I think it's PERFECT for a pink birthday card, don't you? A few rhinestones and patterned paper dress up this part of the card.

I am SUPER pleased with the way this card turned out!  I hope you like it, too!  I'd love to hear your opinion, so please do leave me a comment below!

I'd like to enter this card into these fabulous challenges~
