...with LOVE. That's right--LOVE. I created this card with LOVE. Only someone who truly loved crafting would have continued to make this card after all the amazing problems that arose while making it! I won't bore you with the details--let's just say this idea was in my head and it took 3 hours to come to fruition. But you know what? IT WAS WORTH IT!!!
Before we take a look at this card, taking care NOT to see any mistakes as, if they are mentioned, I shall cry, let me tell you about the challenges I'll be entering it into. Did you see that sentence? FOUR commas?! Wow, I'm in rare form...but AS USUAL, I digress. (I promise to try to work on it. TRY being the imperative term.)
Okay, CHALLENGES to enter this card into!!! I will be entering this into the
Try It On Tuesday Anything Acetate challenge, this week's
Moving Along With The Times Layers challenge (I've got many, many layers on this one) and into this week's
CASE Study challenge, where
Karola is our muse again! And her inspiration piece is AMAZING! I was inspired by her colors and by the idea of a frame.
Here is Karola's project~

Isn't it fabulous?! I LOVE the color she chose--pink, green, and purple. And the embellishments--especially the flowers. :) So, are you wondering what I've created with Karola's amazing project inspiration and with acetate?!
Here's my card~

Details~

Inside~

Did you see the acetate? I created a "picture frame" card!!! The acetate is the "glass" of the frame. I've stamped the scroll work frame onto the acetate as well as the paper behind in order to create some dimension. Did you count the layers?! Including flowers, I have counted 7, but there could be more or less. I can barely see straight after 3 hours of painstakingly crafting this creation!
This card was made using my new favorite set--PTI's Simply Jane!!! As my faithful followers know, I received it as a Valentine's gift from my DH, and it has gotten a workout!!!
What do you think?! I love it. It took a TON of time, but I feel that it was really worth it and I think I'll make some more cards in this style when I have the time. Because, as we all know, practice makes perfect!
I can't wait to see the other creations for these two challenges, and hope you'll join us! Happy stamping!!! :)
