Paper Sweeties September Inspiration Challenge #24 - 'Happy Fall'

Hello, friends!  It's time for another monthly challenge over at Paper Sweeties!  I'm super excited about this one because I am SO ready for a season change!  We're asking you to be inspired by...

This prompt~

I decided to go Thanksgiving for my card.  I know it's only the beginning of October, but I think sometimes we skip from Halloween to Thanksgiving without really giving it a thought!  And you can find some absolutely DARLING Thanksgiving stamps in the Paper Sweeties store!

For this darling little set, I started with some kraft and black patterned paper and add some images and sentiments from the Gobble Gobble stamp set.  I kept the image on the place card uncolored because I liked the monochrome feel.  I colored in the turkey on the card with Spectrum Noir markers and added the sentiment by tying it to the base with some twine and a metallic brad.  Just a few little black pearls and some black Liquid Pearls for a bit more interest, and there you have it!

Now, hop over to the other DT members for more inspiration!

Here's the order~

I was thinking summer meets autumn when I was making this card.  Summer lasts until the end of October here in Kansas, but I LOVE autumn colors.  I think this is the perfect mesh of both! :)

Inspired By Stamping: Release Week Wrap Up!

Well, it's been a super exciting week for the Inspired By Stamping team!  We've released some more GORGEOUS new stamp sets and I'm here today with a card that showcases three of these sets together!  Take a peek!

This is indeed a one layer card.  I started by stamping the beautiful orchid image from the Australian Nature I set.  I used chalk ink to selectively color the lines of the image instead of coloring the image in.  This kept the design a little more clean and open and allowed me to add some ink flecks and texture from the new Flower of the Month: Aster set. A butterfly from the Australian Nature I set finished off this portion of the card.

Next, I turned to the left side of the card.  I added some more texture from the Aster set and then a sweet sentiment from the same Aster set.  A few rhinestones finished this portion off!

I completely finished the card by rounding the bottom two corners to create a bit more softness.  I truly love the way the finished product looks!

That's all for me today!  I hope you take a chance to go and grab our newest release from the store and, if you spend $50, you will get a free stamp set!  Also, come and join in the fun of our current challenge, too!  If you use products from the Inspired By Stamping store, link them up in the Customer Gallery as well!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

Inspired By Stamping: Release Week + 2 New Sets!

Welcome again, friends!  I'm so glad you chose to stop by today!  I've got another card today using some brand new stamps sets from Inspired By Stamping!  Today I'm focusing on the new Teeny Tiny Greetings set and the Diamonds set!  The Diamonds set is FREE with a $50 purchase this month at Inspired By Stamping, so I know you'll want to go grab the goodies and get this freebie!  Check out the card I made!

This is a totally CAS card, but I love the way it turned out!  I started by stamping a few of the diamonds from the Diamond set onto a kraft panel in some autumnal colors--I'm excited to be going into this season and so you'll see a bunch of these colors in the near future, I believe!

After I stamped the diamonds from the Diamonds set, I added a sweet sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Greetings set.  There are SO many fabulous sentiments in this set and I am totally in love with all of them!  This one looks perfect with a few pearls nestled around it!

The last few steps was to add a bit of orange stitched ribbon on top of the diamond images from the Diamonds set.  I layered that onto some darker brown and then a kraft card base.  Voila!

Inspired By Stamping: Release Week + NEW Aster Set!

Hello again, friends!  I'm back again today with another card to share using the NEWEST stamps from the Inspired By Stamping store!  Today we are featuring the brand new Flower of the Month: Aster set!  I am TOTALLY in love with this set and I know you will be, too!  Look at the card I made to share!

Do you see why I LOVE this set?  It's so pretty!  I know Asters are usually blue, but I decided to do a watercolor resist technique on this lovely image with some autumnal colors.  The flower image from the Aster set is perfect for this technique!

After I got my image panel water colored, I decided to add a sentiment from the same Aster set.  It's die cut out perfectly with the Inspired By Stamping Fancy Label 3 dies!  A bit of twine and some black enamel dots finished off the main panel.

All I had to do after completing my main panel was to tape it all together and add it to a panel with patterned paper!  I really love the way this turned out and I hope you do, too!

Daydream Designs: Star Friends + Wednesday Wisdom

Yep, I'm back again!  Today I'm sharing another creation using some elegant digis from the Daydream Designs store to share with you today.  This card is destined for a fabulous friend.  I'm not sure which one yet, but I'm sure it will land in the lap of the right person!  Come and look...

    Here's the card~

    Daydream Design's products used:
    Easter Morning (paper)

I decided to go monochromatic with this card.  The faux stitching was done with a metallic gel pen from Sakura.  Instead of using digital images to compliment this fabulous sentiment, I chose to have it stand along with minimal embellishments.  I really feel that the result is sheer elegance.

I believe that we are all brothers and sisters here on this earth.  Because of this fact, I believe that we need to try to get along and to touch those spirits we can reach specifically with our personality.  When we act like good friends, love follows.  Unity abounds and lives become better.  Go and be a better friend today.  That's my goal--I hope you'll join me!

That's all for me today, friends!  I hope you go and grab these fabulous digi elements and take some time to browse the rest of the store!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping to you!

Inspired By Stamping: Release Week--Autumn Blessings!

Hello again, friends!  I'm back with another creation using some of our NEWEST stamps at Inspired By Stamping!  It's release week and so today we are featuring projects that use the Autumn Blessings set!  Take a peek at the box I made!

I started with a box that came with some checks I recently purchased.  I covered it with some brown patterned paper and then edged it with some crocheted trim found in our Crocheted Trim III set.  I also added some circles punched out of craft to cover the seams on the corners of the box.

Next, I stamped and created a fun wreath with some of the images from the Autumn Blessings set.  I am in LOVE with this fabulous set--think of all the different seasonal wreaths you could make!  I decided to go autumnal and finish the stamped wreath off with a sparkly apple image (from the same Autumn Blessings set) and some red "berry" pearls.

Next, I created a panel for the wreath panel to sit on top of with a sentiment from...you guessed it...beautiful Autumn Blessings set!  I accented the sentiment with some clear glitter gel pen, a few stamped images from the Autumn Blessings set, a resin flower, and more red pearls.

These were both layered onto the top of the box and, voila!  A great little box for giving away a gift.  This box is just big enough for a few cookies or even some of trims or flowers from the Inspired By Stamping store!

    Doodle Pantry: Best Fishes

Hey, friends!  I'm back today with a card using some super fun digital elements from Doodle Pantry.  This card uses a very punny sentiment--just my style!  What do you think?

    Here's my card~

    Doodle Pantry products used:
    Everyday Jargon (image & sentiment)
    Classic Tools (paper)

I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but I added some liquid pearls as "bubbles" for the little fish and some washi tape to accent this fun image.  I think this would make a super fun birthday card for some guy who likes a good pun as much as I do!  Perhaps my husband?  That IS why we got married, you know. ;)

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my card!  I hope you come and join in our current monthly challenge over on the Doodle Pantry blog and that you grab some of the newest items for sale in the store!  HUGS and happy {digi} stamping!
