Unicorn Birthday

Hi, friends! Thanks for stopping by today! I've been having fun getting out supplies that I haven't used and a few new things, too. For today's card, I used a new to me image from the Unicorn Birthday digital stamp set by Bugaboo. Take a peek...

I colored the sweet image with Spectrum Noir markers, then fussy cut it out. I used stamps and dies from The Stamps of Life to create the sentiment, then added some glitter gems, glitter paper, and textured ribbon for a bit more texture. The focal panel was added to a card base prepped with some pink paper pierced patterned paper (whew--how's that for alliteration?!) with a lavender mat.

I totally adore this creation, and hope you do, too! I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Happy Birthday Flowers

Happy Friday, all! I'm back with another CAS creation that has a birthday theme! I kept the colors fun and summery because, 'tis the season! ;) Take a peek...

The floral stamps are from Stampin' Up!. I used a sentiment/cardstock/ink/dies from The Stamps of Life and patterned paper from Papertrey Ink. The glitter washi is from my stash and the enamel dots are from Close To My Heart. I am relatively sure that most of these items, with the exception of stuff from TSOL, are retired. I'm trying to use my supplies! ;)

I adore the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too! I cannot wait to hear what you think in the comments below! :)

Punny Thank You

Hi, friends! I hope you all had a happy, safe, and enjoyable Independence Day if you live in the USA. We spent time with family and it was GRATE! Which brings me to this post's card...

I used patterned paper, cardstock, and ink from Stampin' Up!, stamps and die from Close To My Heart, and embellishments from a smattering of places for this card. I LOVE puns, so this sentiment and image combo make my heart happy!

I think this cards turned out beautifully, and I hope you agree! I can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

CAS Flower Trio

Hi again, all! I've got another CAS creation to share with you, this one using more of my favorite punches and simple embellishments. Take a peek...

Another white embossed panel backed with black. I love how that little bit of black can add so much visual interest! Three flowers that were punched, shaped, popped up, and given yellow enamel dot centers flank the top and bottom of my printed and fussy cut sentiment. I adore the way this turned out, and hope you like it, as well! Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

That's all for now! I have a handful of other cards I will be sharing here pretty quick, so stay tuned! Thanks so much for popping by! Sending crafty hugs your way!

Learning to Be + Butterflies

Hi, friends. It's been quite some time since I crafted and blogged. I have been going through some personal stuff, and I am trying to learn how to "be". I may or may not keep you updated on that, but for now I'll leave it at that! Anyway, I got back into my craft room (it's upstairs in its own ROOM now!) and made a few cards this week, so I figured I should share them because I miss my blogging friends!

Here's the first one I'm sharing:

A white embossed panel was backed with black cardstock to help it "pop", then I added some punched and layered butterflies and a sentiment I created on the computer and printed/cut out and popped it in. A few enamel dots help define the butterfly bodies.  I love it! What are your thoughts? I can't wait to hear them in the comments below!
