Paper Sweeties November Release Rewind!

Well, it's the last day of the Paper Sweeties store release, and I am super excited to show off some of the newest stamps combined with previous releases!  Today, I've got a non-holiday card for your viewing pleasure.  Take a gander...

I just LOVE the Paper Sweeties little paper doll stamps!  They are so sweet!  For this card, I chose to use Abigail.  I used stamps from the new I Love You set to create her outfit and for the bunny.  I colored these all with Spectrum Noir markers and die cut Abigail with her coordinating sweet cut.

I added her to a panel that was created to look like a room.  I used specialty paper for the "carpet", dry embossed paper for the "edging", patterned paper for the "wallpaper", and some cardstock and ribbon to create a sort of "curtain" at the top.

I added some rhinestones around the sentiment banner.  The sentiment is from the new I Love You set--it's punny and absolutely darling!  I LOVE it!

There you have it!  My NON-holiday card using the newest products from Paper Sweeties!  Take one last peek before you go, won't you?

Sweet Cuts - Holly Days

I'm here today with a very CAS card...in fact, it's one layer!  It uses traditional holiday colors and some fun bling and ribbon...and shine!  Come and see...

I started by stamping the holly image from the Holly Days stamp set.  I colored it in with a green glitter gel pen and added three large red rhinestones for some added texture and shine.

I then stamped a sentiment from the Happy Holidays stamp set.  I colored in the green lined "Christmas" with the same green glitter gel pen that I used on the holly leaves.  I used a red glitter gel pen to color in the border of the "Merry".

The final step was to add some red stitched ribbon to the top.  Instead of a bow, I went with a simple knot.  It seemed to fit the CAS feel of the card better than a bow. :)

That is all that I had to do!  This is definitely a card that could be recreated over and over in record time.  If you haven't started your holiday card making, hop over to Paper Sweeties, grab these sets, and get stamping! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back again tomorrow with another creation using new products!  Please come back then...but first, please visit the other gals on this amazing team!

Inspired By Stamping: Ginger Blessings

Hello, friends!  I'm super excited to share a gift set using NEW stamps from the Inspired By Stamping online store!  I have a fun card and card holder to share with you...take a peek!

I went for some non-traditional colors and started by making the card holder first.  It is essentially an altered giant clothespin.  I covered it in silver glitter paper, added a blue snow print paper to it, then added two little ginger cookies from the new Sugar & Spice stamp set.

These little cookies were stamped onto kraft paper.  The scarves were heat embossed in white, and the face was stamped then traced with a chalk marker.  Once it dried, I was able to use glitter gel pens to add color that would be seen!

I then stamped a sentiment from the Sugar & Spice set and heat embossed it in a glittery red.  It was punched out, layered with some more glitter paper, and added to the center of the card holder, in between the two ginger cookies.

I then decided to make a card to match the holder--why not?!  The holder could be used for any card, but a matching card is fun. :)

This card uses another ginger cookie made in the same way as those on the holder.  I also added a different sentiment from the Sugar & Spice set to this card.

The background "paper" with the candy cane print is actually created using an image from the Sugar & Spice set and some liquid pearls.  I thought that this card could use a little more red, so that's how I got it on there!

The final set is super sweet, don't you think?  I love all the fun cookies you can make with the new Sugar & Spice set--go grab it today!

That's all for me today!  I hope you take a chance to go and grab our newest release from the store and, if you spend $50, you will get a free stamp set!  Also, come and join in the fun of our current challenge, too!  If you use products from the Inspired By Stamping store, link them up in the Customer Gallery as well!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

November 14: Paper Sweeties November Release Countdown!

Hi, friends!  I'm back today with another card made using some of the NEWEST PRODUCTS from the Paper Sweeties store!  AND, today I've got a video to go along with my card!  Watch it to learn how I made these matching mugs! :)  First, take a peek at my completed card...

I am just absolutely IN LOVE with the new Homemade With Love stamp sets and coordinating dies, and so this card was one of the first that popped into my head.  I started by creating two die cut mugs from some fun patterned paper using the Homemade With Love sweet cuts.  To learn how I did this, see my video HERE or watch it below.

I also punched out 2 hearts and glitter-fied them with a glitter gel pen to use as accents on the mug.  I stamped the "steam" onto the patterned paper and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and stamped two peppermint sticks from the Homemade With Love stamp set and cut them out with the Homemade With Love sweet cuts as a fun accent.  These were added to the card base.

I then stamped a sentiment from the Homemade With Love set, punched it out, and matted it onto some red glitter paper.  I added some red glitter gel pen to the heart for a bit more shine.

The last thing to do was to add some bling!  I chose some enamel dots, liquid pearls, and a few strawberry sequins for some shine.  I added these in groups of three around the card.

Super easy, peasy!  I am totally in love with how this turned out!  It came together better than in my head, and for that, I am thankful.  I know it is definitely because of the fabulous products from the Paper Sweeties store that I used!  What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back again tomorrow with another creation using new products!  Please come back then...but first, please visit the other gals on this amazing team!

All that glitters is...Christmas!

Welcome, friends!  I'm here with a monochromatic and sparkly Christmas card--using fabulous products from Paper Sweeties! :)  Come and take a peek at the entire card and then I'll share how I created it...

The first focus was on creating my background panel.  I decided to add a lot of texture by first dry embossing the cardstock and then heat embossing gold over that. The embossing folder is by Sizzix and the powder is by Sweet Stamps.  This was layered on to a glitter paper mat.  The glitter paper is by Recollections.

I then turned to decorating the panel.  I added some banners using the same Recollections glitter paper and then a line of lace from my stash.  I embossed some bows from the NEW Holly Days set from Paper Sweeties (release party going on NOW--new products available on the 15th!) and then die cut them out with the NEW Holly Days Sweet Cuts.  I added some copper Stickles to the centers and then layered them onto some glitter paper banners and lace.

I next stamped and embossed the snowman from the NEW Holly Days set and die cut it using the NEW Holly Days Sweet Cuts.  I cut an extra snowman out of the same glitter paper to use as a shadow for my glittery guy.  A bit of copper Stickles accenting finished him off and he was put onto the card.

The last step was to add the sentiment.  This one is from the NEW Happy Holidays set from Paper Sweeties and was embossed in gold.  It was punched into a banner and added to more glitter paper as a mat.  It was tucked under my snowman.

That's all for me today, friends!  Come and play along with me at the fabulous challenges I'm entering--the list is at the end of this post.  Thank you so much for stopping by!  HUGS and happy stamping, all!

Great Impressions: Wintry Penguin

Hey, everyone!  Happy Thursday!  It's time for me to share another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions store again.  Today I've got a fun and easily mail-able card with a holiday theme.  Take a gander...

I decided to keep this card CAS and flat so it would be ideal for mailing.  So, all of the stamps are on the same panel!  I've used some newer images paired with an older sentiment.  I started by stamping the snowbanks, G511 Snow Drifts, in a very light blue ink.  I added some glitter to it for some shine.

I then stamped the little penguin, F592 Dancing Penguin, and colored in what needed to be colored with glitter gel pens.  I added some glitter to the little snowflakes above his head, too.  More shine!

Lastly, I stamped an older sentiment, E250 Warmth & Love, in red and highlighted it with red gel pen.

I think the final product turned out better than I though it would!  A mail-able, holiday card, that has lots of shine and holiday spirit thrown into it.  Thoughts?

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  Hop over to the Great Impressions blog for more inspiration and come play along with our monthly challenge, too!  If you use stamps from Great Impressions, you'll be able to link up your creation in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
